I just finished my Masters and the move is exciting, but I also know NO one! I have great friends down in the SD area but unfortunately, I can't take them with me (I've tried.) I'm very dedicated to my profession but I also have a lot of energy and am a huge advocate of a balanced lifestyle- I'm always doing something, even if its actively doing nothing. I love doing anything outside and am only really limited by time and/or my old decrepit body. I almost just said I feel like I'm writing a personals add...Then realized-I am.That was awkward. The first hang out would be something that doesn't involve a movie theater or coffee- too dark and too cliche (but I love going to the movies FYI) I'd probably say find a common interest and take it from there- anything from an arcade to exploring somewhere new.

I mean, I'm pretty much the best thing to ever happen to this planet. I also routinely joke about me being better than I am. It's part of my charm. I'm currently in a masters program and just got promoted at my job, so life is good! I like creative things, but really don't expect much there cause I suck at thinking up ideas. But really, I think it's presumptuous to be on a date the first time you meet. I've made that mistake too many times. So... we'd probably just get coffee at first, see how we mesh. And I wouldn't be actually drinking the coffee... don't really like it. But I do love chai.
