I just finished my Masters and the move is exciting, but I also know NO one! I have great friends down in the SD area but unfortunately, I can't take them with me (I've tried.) I'm very dedicated to my profession but I also have a lot of energy and am a huge advocate of a balanced lifestyle- I'm always doing something, even if its actively doing nothing. I love doing anything outside and am only really limited by time and/or my old decrepit body. Who knew 29 would be so rough?Just kidding- sort of.I'm not looking for anything sexual- so please don't *** a sexual encounter, being your first, being your third- fourth, or even fifth for you over achievers. Beyond being active I love music (especially at small venues or amphitheater/lawn style when it's nicer out), exploring, movies, learning, meeting new people and enjoying the ones that have been around for a while:)I can't help but feel like these are a dime a dozen- who doesn't love the ocean and being outside, time with friends, music and good food? I almost just said I feel like I'm writing a personals add...Then realized-I am.That was awkward. The first hang out would be something that doesn't involve a movie theater or coffee- too dark and too cliche (but I love going to the movies FYI) I'd probably say find a common interest and take it from there- anything from an arcade to exploring somewhere new.

First off, I suck horribly at filling these things out and talking about myself. If you want to know anything all you have to do is ask! :)I'm pretty quiet and reserved at first but that all changes when I come out of my shell and my goofy, silly side comes out :) I'm honest, a kid at heart, laid-back, drama free, silly, loyal, sweet, thoughtful, funny, hard working, fun loving, adventurous, crazy (the good kind of crazy. Not the psycho stalker kind of creepy). I enjoy the little things in life as I would much rather be hanging out at a good bonfire with friends and family *** going out to a club or whatever. My family means the world to me. Without them, I wouldn't be who I am today. I'm not a fan of liars, fake people or drama, I am perfectly able to cause my own shit-storm if I really wanted to but drama is stupid and un-needed. It is much easier to just lay low, go with the flow and just live.I work fulltime, welding boats for the Navy and I love it! I pay my own bills, have my own vehicle and have my head screwed on right.When it comes to music I mainly listen to all kinds of rock and country. When I'm not at welding my life away I enjoy going camping, fishing, random car rides, hunting in the fall, hanging out with friends and family, and just about anything and everything that involves the outdoors.I'm not into butch girls. Not trying to be rude.... It's just not my thing. I like girly girls. :) We'll cross that bridge if it gets to that point....

hi! im jillian. Yay!!!i think of myself as a good friend and am very aware of other people's feelings and needs. for those of you zodiac sign guru's i hold true to my cancer sign when it comes to relationships and individual self. not to say that i really believe in all of that stuff but it's definitely fun to think about and creates a decent summary for others to understand "me" by. let's see.... i like to make friends and i think this may be one of my biggest hobbies. i also am pretty into sports (fastpitch/softball (go figure), baseball, football, hockey, and a few others in particular). im also going to upstart my hobby of ceramics sometime in the very near future. other than those i like to cook, do the whole outdoors thing, and highly enjoy going to live music (at big and small venues). that being said, i really like a lot of kinds of music....i'm not always a big fan of the "top 40" but some of those catch my attention on occasion. if you have a specific artist you think i should check out let me know!im a very driven person. i have a lot going on but find it a top priority to make time for people in my life. i like to go out and have fun, but i don't get smashed very often. i like to have a few beers and dance but do enjoy remembering the night and the people i'm with. i have a very respectful relationship with alcohol and get frustrated with those that abuse it. however im ok with letting loose on occassion just not on a daily/weekly basis. moderation is the key. hmmm im not sure what more to say about me...people think im older than i actually am because of my personality and demeanor (not my looks haha) and often times i get along better with women that are a little older than me ***mid 30's)....but i keep an open mind regardlessnow what im looking for....someone who is chill, can hold a highly intelligent conversation for longer than a three minutes, someone who is willing to openly discuss their feelings for others/their relationships, who likes the outdoors, who is a unique individual and not just one of the crowd, and has an adventurous/active mind......or if you have any other good qualities that you think i might likein short i really like smart, chill, and adventurous women first date.....well probably just chat over a good beer or coffee (depending on the day/location)...if things went well it could progress into dinner/lunch.(im better with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th date ideas....those are more fun anyway!!!)
