I honestly think meeting people in person really lets you know about someones character and personality. Regardless, i wouldnt mind meeting some new people, and making friends from this site, if thats all this amounts to.Although I'd like to be in a relationship, the only way to meet the right person for you is through trial and error, so i'm interested in dating making friends and meeting different people and find the person thats most compatable with me. I like people who are confident in knowing how they feel and what they are looking for. I dont want to be playing games and I dont want to feel like I always have to make the first move or do all the planning for something. Occasionally its nice to sit back and let someone else take the reins.I am a strong, independent and assertive woman who wants to be treated the way I treat others- with care and respect. I can be sensitive, but try not to let things bring me down. I enjoy time with my friends and family, as well as my dogs. I want to eventually buy a house and get married and have a family of my own\. I love to learn in any way/shape/form, especially about people and cultures. I think its important to get to know someone on a first date but sitting face to face for a few hours with little or no distraction can be akward at times. I'd prefer something more interactive and fun, but not so crazy that you can't even talk to the other person.

    Alright, so I'm a 29 yr old single mom that works quite a bit but knows how to find that balance in life for family time and me time as well. Actually, I'm just now getting around to the "me time". I have been single for over a year and am just trying to put myself out there and see what kind of options there are.
