I love spending time with friends, enjoying great food, drinks and laughs. If you don't like to socialize, eat, drink and generally have fun, move on. I love fun. I am also very close with my family and enjoy spending time with them; they are totally nuts but I love them. My parents also recently rescued two adorable dogs and so I have been spending a lot of time hanging out with them. I think my mother adopted them so that I would come home more often. Ideally I would like to do more traveling without students. I am not one for a crazy, over the top first date. I think good conversation over a glass of wine/beer/cocktail is ideal. And then maybe if it goes well, throw in some food. I think the long-walk-on-the-beach is more like a third date activity.
