Pretty much, I am what happens when you take an eight-year-old and a teacher and roll them into one, then throw in a love of things dark and uncouth, like Chuck Palahniuk. This does not mean that I don't occasionally eat all the cookies and not feel bad about it...I'm just going to throw this out there: I hate the cult of Husker football. I do not want to watch or play anything that involves throwing/catching/hitting objects. If these are important in your life, I am glad that they bring you joy and happiness. Messaging me is probably a waste of your time.I feel similarly about religion. I am not religious and I know myself well enough to know that I cannot be fully and completely with someone who is. If your religion is an important part of your life, I am glad that it brings you peace and happiness. We will not work out as a couple.I am, however, very much interested in someone who is intelligent, adventurous and very open to new ideas and experiences. Super extra bonus points if you consider yourself a fairly thoughtful, rational human. I'm always up for anything. I love to try new things, so any novel experience will probably be a win. Interesting, new-to-me restaurants; artsy fartsy happenings; local festivals; coffee shops - these are all good options. The only thing that is really important is that it's relaxed for both people, with plenty of time to talk and get to know each other.

I'm adding this here at the top in order to not waste anyone's time. I would describe myself as down to earth, energetic, loyal, honest, and independent. I have also been known to be outspoken at times as well as sarcastic. Yes, I can take a joke and hope you can too. I don't consider myself "religious" but definitely spiritual and faithful. I love meeting new people. I have a much better time around friends than I do at home by myself. But love going to any sporting events - especially Rangers games! After working in social work, doing adoptions, for 5 years I finally made a move into the corporate world as a corporate trainer. I am looking forward to seeing where the opportunity takes me. Suffice to say that I'm a dork. I read, sit up all night watching old movies, and like to bust out the hula-hoop in my living room. I'm an introvert who is beginning to get out in the crazy world and enjoy myself. As much as an introvert can. And yes, I am a big girl. Fat. That's right. I said it first. I'm a fat girl. So if this bothers you in any way, shape, or form then you need to go get over yourself and go bother some other poor unsuspecting girl. I will not take crap from small minded people.I'm just a quiet, down to earth kind of person who likes to play video games and is tired of being the in-between girl. I think a lot (not about anything in particular, I just think a lot and it gets me into trouble.) I'm an avid reader and love to cook when I have the time. (Which doesn't seem to happen all that much anymore.) I spend most of my time either at work or at home with the occasional night out. I have a hard time letting my guard down and letting people in. I suppose I could say all the usual stuff about how I'm just looking for a nice guy who can support himself and doesn't act like a five year old all the time.
