Hey, I'm Jess...I'm a full-time student working towards an elementary teaching degree. I've got one semester of classes left until I student-teach next winter, so I'm staying busy. I'm your typical poor college student who still lives with her parents. (Cue the boos from the audience...)I'm a shy girl, but if I'm around the right crowd I get over it. I enjoy trivia nights with friends and giggling at the karaoke singers. I have a decent sense of humor..(as documented in my pictures)...some may even call me funny. It's easy to get my friends laughing, but who knows, they're probably just trying to be nice. I, on the other hand, will laugh at just about anything. I'm a fan of randomness and often times the obscene - (gasp!***within reason. At the end of the day I'm still a lady.I'm not a "candlelit dinner and a walk on the beach" kind of girl. I'd opt for dinner at a hole-in-the-wall place and a walk in the rain. Though I never object to a fancy night out, I would rather stay in and have a movie night with friends. I truly enjoy the simpler things in life and appreciate the small things. I tend to think the stupidest things are romantic. Random funny or cutesy text messages WILL make my day.I like watching sports -....but a big part of hanging out with family and watching the games is hosting. I love to entertain and make people happy.As for the guy who catches my eye...If you get me laughing, you've got my attention. I'm attracted to wit and a great sense of humor to bring out my own. A guy who is family-oriented and has his goals set is important to me. Someone who has morals and manners high on his list of attributes is something to be proud of. A great gentleman is hard to find these days!Someone who embraces an open mind is attractive to me. Superficiality trumps every positive trait. Case in point: I'm a curvy girl and some of my best friends lead an "alternative" lifestyle. You either get it or you don't. My intention is not to drive you away from this profile by being mean - on the contrary. This little paragraph may slim down my chances of a response, but I'll take those chances. I don't want to waste anyone's time and I don't want my time to be wasted. I know who I am and what I want and I hope you do too.Bonus if he's got a bit of a wild child in him; I've got a few tattoos and I know that can be a deal breaker for some. I see it as art and want more. As for me, a deal breaker would be a guy who smokes anything but the occasional cig or me in a game of pool. I'm a drug-free zone. I also don't drink and I don't mind being around people who drink just so long as they know their limit.I'm just an affectionate girl looking for that affectionate guy.You know where to find me... First dates can be tricky. You and I both know there needs to be a get-away plan if things don't click.But a SECOND date could be a walk or drive around town, a sporting event, dinner and chatting, checking out a new pub, the beach, the zoo.....doesn't matter just so long as we get a chance to talk more.
