I'm a very open and opinionated woman who knows what she wants and is seeking someone like me. I like to party and have fun but I can also relax and chill out. I love traveling and want to find someone to discover the world with. My friends mean a lot to me and I would do anything for them. Honesty and loyalty are very important to me. I cant stand liars. I had a few long term relationships and have been living the single life for the past two years, but now I'm ready to find that special someone. I am looking for someone who is fun and spontaneous with a great sense of humor. That being said, I feel like I need to clarify a few things:-if you're just looking for sex, don't bother messaging me. I can go to a bar and pick up a random if that's what I was looking for, but it's not-if you have or want kids, don't bother messaging me. That might sound harsh but that's just not a lifestyle I'm interested in, not now, not ever.-I am looking for a gentleman who will treat me right. I've been burned before so I'm looking for a sweet, sincere, loyal, caring person because I feel that's what I am :-)-if you don't have a photo, or you have a far away or blurry photo, or you only have group photos and you don't specify which one you are, don't bother messaging me. I'm not trying to be shallow, I just think the basis of this whole online dating thing is physical attraction, then you can start talking to the person to see if you get along. If I can't see your face, I can't tell if I'd be attracted to you!--time relationship - this means NO Ft. Mac guys, sorry! Something fun where there's not too much pressure. I don't like movies on a first date because there no real opportunity to get to know a person and see if you really have a connection. Drinks, dinner, mini golf, walk in the river valley, something like that!

I am a fun-loving girl relatively new to beautiful BC. My job is awesome but has somewhat crazy and unpredictable hours which can make it a little challenging at times to meet new people. I am looking for someone to enjoy my down time with and maybe a little more - we will see how it goes! I feel most happiest when I am outside, breathing in the fresh air, enjoying the mountains and ocean, and am excited to explore all of what beautiful BC has to offer! I enjoy hiking, kayaking, yoga, camping, gardening, hitting the gym with awesome tunes, reading, cooking and crafting and am up for trying just about anything at least once :)I am looking for a partner in crime who loves to laugh, is passionate and will hopefully challenge me in new ways. There is something beautiful and exciting about meeting someone you feel a great connection with, who shares some of your interests and views but more exciting who opens you up to new experiences, opportunities and perspectives that allow you both to grow - having fun all the while of course :) I value health, wellness, a positive attitude, independence, intelligence, and a sense of adventure. A few tidbits about me:- I have two degrees, a job that requires me to stay up to date in my field and love being a life-long learner -- independent, amenable to change, and happy to take on new adventures!- I believe that generosity, gratitude, and a positive attitude go a long way :)- I love all sorts of music but can't carry a tune for the life of me - i.e. karaoke not such a great first date idea- I love coffee - it is my morning ritual to curl up with a cup of coffee and enjoy the peace and quiet that the morning offers. Bonus points for you if you can make a mean cup of coffee, even more bonus points if said cup of coffee is ready when I wake up ;)- I have been vegetarian for more than a decade but don't dislike or guilt meat eaters -- my oatmeal cookies are a big hit and my new occasional currency/bribery tool- I have a soft spot for men who like yoga- I have cats currently but am a dog lover at heart - I love to travel and have so many places left I want to visit and possibly work I am new to this whole online dating thing (first time eep) so please be gentle. If you think we might share something in common feel free to message me ;) Something fun and simple that allows us to get to know one another - a hike, picnic, coffee and a walk? Maybe something neither of us have ever tried before to keep it interesting - I am game if you are ;)

- I am the Academic Director at an ESL school downtown.- I still want to travel, but I think I'm ready to make this my home base.. so I found a job here and came back.->; It's really important to me that the people I surround myself with are really passionate about whatever they do. Is that too much to ask? I love what I do everyday and I think that allows me to be the hopeful, optimistic, bubbly, energetic, social person that I am.- and sail around the world- just because I could, I would not be happy with someone who wasn't up for travelling and adventure, I wouldn't date someone who was generally negative or pessimistic, I would leave a date if you were rude to anyone (waiter, cashier, etc.) I need someone who values family, friendships and the environment and can shake it on the dance floor! My friends would say I'm really caring, thoughtful, and passionate... my ex-boyfriends would likely call me a work-a-holic, and my students might say I'm the "best teacher ever!"***It's true! I have proof! They really say that! :D I want to see something exciting in this city- I'm new here and this is such a beautiful place! I'm even cool with going for a walk on a rainy day. Dinner, drinks, or something active would be fine with me. I would love it if you planned the first date- I'm really easy going and would likely enjoy anything you have in mind.
