To tell you the truth I may be 26 but I have the sense of humor of a 12 year old. Fart and poop jokes are hilarious but don't think it's cool to fart on the first date because you'll just find yourself alone while I "go to the ladies room" and take off. I have my Bachelors of science degree in criminal justice with a minor in sociology but am currently a manager at a major retailer while I search for a job in my field. While I like chick flicks I also enjoy anything involving zombies, I'm not big on video games but gran turismo is pretty awesome.+ See? All over the place. Honestly, as long as it's not some poor attempt to see me with less clothes on I'm pretty cool with just about anything. Taking a walk, going to dinner, museum, so on and so forth. Even going out for a couple drinks. I am a bit of a traditionalist in the dating department though, a guy should open the door, pull out your chair and pick up the tab at least for the first couple of dates.

I’m a self-sufficient, mid-twenties gal with her own place and a good job looking for someone to spend time with and have some fun. I work in IT as an Implementation Analyst in the medical field. I will finish my Masters of Business Administration in Management March. My Bachelors degree is in music. I can sing an Italian aria that'll melt your heart. I love reading mystery novels with a splash of romance or a feminine touch. The mystery keeps you wondering who the killer is and the romantic moments make you say "awww" and smile when they finally kiss at the end. I like mini-golfing, hiking, yoga, Zumba, bowling, softball, karaoke, going to comedy clubs, shopping, scrapbooking, and playing board games. I'd love to travel. I enjoy cooking. I watch what I eat. I lost 70 pounds in ***and I work out regularly to maintain my current size. I spend a lot of time thinking of ways to obtain my fitness goals, how I can advance my career using my MBA and what steps I need to take so I can purchase my own home. I blush easily from the most simple of romantic gestures. I’m a mixture of modern and old-fashioned. I appreciate chivalry but also pride myself on being able to take care of myself. I enjoy cooking for my significant other and taking care of him a little. Just because I can be independent and take care of myself doesn't mean I don't want a man around or that I don't like to be treated like his lady. I have found men who either can't take care of themselves or are TOO independent to let someone in. I'm looking for a person in the same stage of life as I'm in. I don't need anyone but I sure miss having someone there. With all that said, it doesn't mean I'm rushing to the chapel. I think things happen in their own time. I would like to stop going on awkward first dates though so it'd be nice if I found someone who wanted to stop that too.I’m interested in someone who values the relationship he has with his family and eventually wants to start his own. I’d prefer someone with regular working hours that lives near me. I'd like to see him more than just on the weekend so the distance helps. I appreciate the positive attitude of a person who lives an active lifestyle. I want a man who loves my curves but also will encourage me to continue on with my healthy lifestyle. He should be punctual, dependable, affectionate, considerate, and romantic. If you think you fit this description, please send me a friendly message. First dates should be in a safe, casual, and public place that engenders conversation and getting to know one another. The first meeting should be just a check to see if things could work. I think you generally have a good idea if you like someone by spending an hour talking over coffee. We'll both be nervous but hopefully the awkwardness fades fast into pleasant conversation.
