About Me

I like to be spontaneous but need to have a schedule. I’ll try anything once and also want to explore new things and places. Im honest and sometimes brutally so. I like to talk and get to know people. I like to be busy and do tons of things. But there are times when I just want to be lazy, watch tv and enjoy peace. I can be a goof sometimes too. Im the best friend type, the girls next store, the type you would be proud to bring home to momma. Im hard working, faithful, fun, sarcastic and smart.I dont want to list a bunch of donts, but my biggerst things is just dont be a jerk, dont use people and dont think Im only good for one thing. Maybe its me but Vegas seems to be a hard city to find/meet genuine people. I dont believe in "testing" men or playing mind games. I dont expect that every guy I meet is the one, cuz the likelihood is it just wont work out. But I wanna try and see how things go and get to know someone. I totally believe in taking things slow but not too slow as to loose interest. Im not looking just to hang out, I have friends to do that. Eventually I do want a relationship. But I'm not going to jump into anything just cuase some guy shows me a bit of interest, Im not desperate. Things will happen if they are mean to happen. I just want to enjoy the ride. Its hard to sum one person up in a paragraph, but I wanted to give just a little something. Im looking forward to meeting you! For the first date, Im pretty much open to anything.     Hi! I love my job, but teaching is my goal. I like younger kids, and I would very much like to teach 3rd-5th graders. They haven't learned to hate school yet! I believe that everyone deserves a second chance, and that people can change, but I can't be the person to give you that second chance. Also, if you are still married, in the process of getting a divorce or gone through a divorce in the last 3 months, please count me out. I haven't had many first dates, so I don't really have much idea of what a good first date should be. Something laid back, casual like. Maybe drinks at a bar, or dinner with a possible movie, or dessert somewhere. I'd say long walks on the beach, but we're about 8 hours away from a beach... I like to keep things simple. I'm a fairly easygoing person, I'm up for just about anything.

    Hi there, I'm Jen. I will say that I'm very shy so if I stopped by your profile and didn't say hello, that's probably why. I am a bit of a nerd and a geek, but I'm ok with that. They raised a fiercely independent woman who doesn't know how to fail, which is both a good and a bad thing lol. I have a decent job, I'm good at it. It might not be a forever job, but I love the people I work with and the work is constant which is important. I own my own home and a car as well. I have two cats that I tend to spoil a little bit. I have a pretty wide range of hobbies, although I'm sure you've all read that before. :) I love video games and board games. I do play World of Warcraft, but no it doesn't own my soul. I find that I play it more as a social gathering now as I've met some of my best friends on the game. I dabble in some photography, but that's more of just for me as I'm not great at it lol. I do enjoy hiking and being out of the house as well, mini golf and bowling are always fun. I also enjoy walking through the zoo pretty frequently. I also love to cook and bake, I'm getting pretty good at it.I tend to enjoy all types of music, but bonus points if it's something I can move to. I'm amazing at car karaoke lol. Most recently I've been in a deep country kick, but I also have been enjoying some Ne-yo, T-Pain, and Trey Songz. Last month I was pretty heavy into alternative and rock, so it just depends on my mood.Like I said, I am pretty shy, so I don't message people first very often. Part of that hates to fail thing I think. And occasionally my sarcasm is misinterpreted, which I apologize for. However, I promise I'm capable of a decent conversation, drop me a line and say hi. :) Something easy, not too much pressure. :)
