About Me

What can I say? I am not a natural born southerner, but I could definitely get used to it! I moved here for my career; I teach 5th grade Math, and wouldn't trade my students for anything (even though I want to pull my hair out some days). The only down side of moving here is the distance I have put between great friends and great family. I am very close to them, and sometimes it is rough being so far away, but I talk to them on the phone all the time! Right now i am working on a masters degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. One day I would really like to be the principal of an elementary school, but I am good being in the classroom right now! At first glance I can appear to be very shy, but I open up pretty quickly. I am loud, my voice just seems to carry, but I come by it honest! It comes in handy in my line of work though! I can be very opnionated, but I can also admit when I am wrong (it just so happens that that doesn't happen very often!) I am also a very trusting person, at least until that trust is broken. I am looking for a friend first and foremost. I am waiting for the stage in my life to start!
