Commence awkward self-promotion!Let's get the essentials out of the way first, eh? I am gainfully employed as a teacher; I love my job and all of its quirks, although it does tend to come home with me often. Also, I have an adorable toddler son who is with me half the time. Don't want to date someone with kids? I'm not your gal. My spawn will win in that decision every time. I'm currently one teeny tiny class away from finishing my master's degree. (Watch this transition about to happen!) I value education a lot and am hugely attracted to smart people who wear their intellect (regardless of whether or not that comes with a formal education) without arrogance, rudeness, or defensiveness. With that said, I admit that I'm kind of a grammar nazi and am unlikely to initiate contact with or respond to people who can't/don't communicate well in writing. I delight in progressive people who believe in the value of a sense of humor.
