Commence awkward self-promotion!Let's get the essentials out of the way first, eh? I am gainfully employed as a teacher; I love my job and all of its quirks, although it does tend to come home with me often. Also, I have an adorable toddler son who is with me half the time. Don't want to date someone with kids? I'm not your gal. My spawn will win in that decision every time. I'm currently one teeny tiny class away from finishing my master's degree. I value education a lot and am hugely attracted to smart people who wear their intellect (regardless of whether or not that comes with a formal education) without arrogance, rudeness, or defensiveness. With that said, I admit that I'm kind of a grammar nazi and am unlikely to initiate contact with or respond to people who can't/don't communicate well in writing. Hiya...I'm a business analyst for a hotel software company here in Vegas, but while work is important, there's so much more to it! Outside the office I crave hanging out with those that are near and dear to me either at someone's house or, more often than not, at a loungie type of bar. Country music is a passion and, while I'm a terrible line-dancer, I will hop on the dance floor in a heartbeat if the DJ plays a song that is impossible to sit still to (e.g. "Whiskey Drinkin' SOB")! Two things I love to do, but never find the time for are hiking and reading. NOTE TO SELF: find time to hike and read, or better someone to hike and read with!
