Welcome! So to start off I'm a born and raised Vancouverite, which is unusual these days it seems. That being said, I'm not a very good Vancouverite since I don't do yoga, I don't wear a toque in the middle of summer, I don't know how to ski or snowboard (though I'm not against learning!), I don't own anything by lululemon, I can't possibly figure out how to eat all organic, natural and local food while following the latest random health craze (and staying within a reasonable budget), I'm not a bandwagon jumper (I love my teams, through wins and losses), I like to ride my bike, but I also have a car which truthfully gets me around more easily than my bike (but it doesn't mean that I don't care about the environment) and lastly, I probably don't know that obscure band that you are talking about (though I'd love to hear them and will probably like them). I'm open minded and not pretentious. I'm looking for someone of a similar nature. I care about what's going on in the world and am definitely a news junkie. I used to work in international affairs, I continue to volunteer with the Red Cross and respond to disasters when necessary. I have a professional career that allows me to take care of myself. I love to travel. I've been to a few interesting places, heard of Djibouti? I'm pretty easy going, but definitely have opinions, I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl and I'm close to my family. When I go out, it's usually to a pub with friends to watch a Canucks game, watch a band play or hang out on a patio. I'm a big sports fan, hockey, soccer and football being my favourites. I like to stay active and be outdoors in general. I play soccer a few times a week and have a pretty blue bike that needs to get out more. I laugh at myself easily, which is good, since I'm easy to tease apparently. If you're going to send me a message, please write more than a few words.     I am a full time mother of a 4 yr old boy. I also work full time. When i am not working i like to hang out with my son and play baseball or go on bike rides. When I do get time to myself, Iike to go out and hang out with friends for drinks and listen to music, go to the movies or simple head out of town for the day. One day i am hoping to go back to school, still deciding what i want to do, but i know i want to stay in the medical field. I have started to workout, i do attend bootcamp ***times a wk and i love it. I have a big family and they are the best. Dont know where i would be without them. I like to listen to music: rock, R&B, but i am a big country music fan. Baseball is my favorite sport. Big Dodger fan (love my boys in blue). Try to make it to a couple of games during the season. I am a little shy at first, but once i get to know someone it goes away.
