I am a special education teacher for children with Autism. I absolutely love what I do and I am very passionate about it. I just did the Polar Plunge to raise money for the Special Olympics, nothing like an ice cold dip in the middle of March! Working in such a female dominated profession make it a lot harder to meet people, so I thought I'd give this a try.I am a complete klutz, definitely not athletic but I'm pretty health conscious and keep myself in shape. I'm all for chasing some kids around the playground or hitting the gym though. It is awesome having so many options right around the corner. I can always find something new and different to do. Plus is doesn't hurt that there are a few decent beaches to hit in the summer.
