I recently bought my own home, and I enjoy working on fixing it up. Slowly, but surely. I'm definitely not afraid of power tools. Lol. I even have a subscription to Family Handyman magazine. I really enjoy politics and discussions about how messed up things have become. I was pretty active in one of the last presidential campaigns.) I met a lot of really cool people and learned a lot!! I find intelligence extremely attractive. I have a fun/silly side. I am always trying to be funny and love making people laugh. Kids, adults, strangers. Lol. Anyone. Makes life more enjoyable. I work full-time and love what I do. I've been with the same company for 19 years. I have a relaxed personality. Low-maintenance and I am almost always in a good mood. :)I love spending time at the cabin and on the water. A slow drive around the lake after dinner is one of my favorite things to do. It's relaxing and the lake is usually at its best at that time of the day. I am looking for a companion. Someone to spend time with and enjoy life with. Share adventures, share troubles, and share life experiences with. I miss having that one person to call and say "oh my god, you're not going to believe this..." type of stories. I don't like to chat with people for weeks/months only to find out we have zero chemistry in person. I prefer to talk on the phone over texting. Texting gets old quick.     I strive to cultivate a positive and optimistic outlook on life. I believe knowledge is power and exposure a variety of people and experiences is important to developing a dynamic sense of self. I am a registered nurse and feel fortunate to have a profession that grounds and continuously challenges me. I may be an obsessive label reader at times but I do love to cheat and indulge in contraband on occasion;-). I'm a pretty laid back and casual girl. I am looking to meet a friend that hopefully evolves in a meaningful partner. While I respect the initial phases of dating, and length of time it takes to get to know someone, I am not looking for casual dating. Honesty and communication skills are a must for me. I am trying out the online thing, you never know where you might meet someone, right?
