Hi, I´ I grew up in WI, moved to Spain when I was 19 to go on a year-long study abroad program, fell in love with it, and ended up staying there for 13 years.) My friends often referred to us as "The Cleavers." My parents gave me a childhood that most kids could only dream of. Their weekends were spent cheering me on at my sporting events-- they never missed a game/meet. When I had a weekend off, they would find other ways to have some quality time together. (art and historical museums, picnics, long hikes in the woods, gardening, BBQs...) -My brother, who is two years older, is still my idol and best friend. :-) Looking back, I am sooo thankful they made sitting down at the table as a family, for breakfast and dinner, such a priority. That is where a family becomes "a family." -I think honesty is the most important part of a relationship, and if not THE most important, at least it's at the top of the list. I was married to a spaniard for 7 years. Unfortunately, he had personal problems that he could not overcome, even with my loving support. My situation was unique, and I was forced to move on. It wasn't an easy thing to do, since I am a firm believer that marriage is a lifetime commitment. I put single down in my profile so I could be included in more searches. Sorry about that.-If I forgive you, I will forget it. I moved here from the east coast and can't picture living anywhere else. I like to think I'm pretty intelligent and I'm probably a bit of a geek. I've learned a lot in my life.
