About ME!: Don't take life too serious, it's not like you are going to get out alive... I greatly enjoy the outdoors, sunlight, friends, music, and adventure. I can also be found working around my house, with special care to my veggie garden. I'm financially responsible on my own. Some of my favorite times in life are because things didn't go as planned. I find myself a decent person, who has made some mistakes in the past but I'm smart enough to know to use the present for what I want it to be now. Yep, basically this means, I'm happy to grow still. Whether it's work, dating, hanging with friends, one has to live with a plan for tomorrow, but enjoy today for what it is. I love music and comedy. Lately I've been rewatching a lot of Louis C.K. and I must admit, I kind of have a crush on him. I also have a thing for safe drivers, guys who love animals, love music, and glasses. Glasses are hot. *shurg* About YOU:Have confidence. Are educated. Financially responsible. A gentleman, but not a doormat. Affectionate. (I like at very least 3 hugs a day). Not a worry wart. Positive and happy, but can take and repackage a sarcastic joke once in a while. I'm looking for someone who wants to enjoy fun dates like bike riding, hiking, boating, dancing, painting, cooking lessons, etc. At this point in my life, I'm simply looking to meet a nice gentleman with a great sense of humor and a sense of self. I take decent care of myself and I would expect you to as well. I eat a partially decent diet, and exercise not to say I do, but because endorphins feel gooooood. I'm not into practicing alcoholics, but I can throw a beer back with my friends at the local pub (I love pool).... I'm cool with greenery, as long as it's not the only way you know how to relax. But I think I am damn funny and can be found laughing at or with myself even when I'm alone. I also LOVE learning things and asking questions. Teach me how to paint, cut hair, dougie, make empanadas, jump my leg.. whatever. I figure we have a short time in life, it's best to share rather than compare. Turn ons:Smiling. Being original. Chivalry. Backrubs, shoulder rubs, leg rubs, foot rubs. I like massages. A lot. Singing, playing an ***, dancing, being free. Being able to "fix" things. (Bonus for teaching me how to do things. I'm down with learning how to work on cars, build things, etc.)Animal lovers need apply. I don't kill bugs, I put them outside. I have an incredible sense of smell, and you have incredible pheromones. I'm attracted to guys who would rather play the game, then simply watch it. You have friends and a life and aren't looking to take over mine, but rather complement it. You understand the difference between complement and compliment, and can provide both. :) Turn offs: Not holding the door open, not just for me, but for the lil ol' lady who we both should make sure goes in before us. Need for control on everything. Snoring. Lying. Yelling at traffic. Reading me memes on a date or referring to Youtube to make me laugh. You don't need to refer to your phone for anything- just be you! Being addicted to GPS. (Can't anyone read a map and addresses anymore?) Judging: Saying that someone shouldn't "wear something" or "do something" because of their age or size. Any over emphasis on religion. I believe in living a good life, not just talking about how one should live. Video game addictions- no 4am gamers please. Teach me something and make me laugh while doing it.     Did you know that a majority of the male profiles on this site say, "no drama." I have a bit of reality to share with you guys: Girls are all drama and that is why you love us! Your mom is drama, your sister is drama, we are all drama- period. The level of neurosis varies but generally speaking girls are emotional and a little annoying. Sorry to break it to you. Everything for me has been on hold because I have worked terribly hard in school etc. to get into the field of work I am in. The thing is that the field of work I am in demands this type of personality. The most important characteristic of a person, friend, lover, etc. is loyalty. I may not warm up quickly but when I do---I'm loyal for life. I've been in several long term relationships and am on good terms with all of my ex boyfriends. Not the kind of good terms that is cause for concern but if I were to run into any of them on the street no one would hide. ;) Education is of utmost importance to me. I need someone who can hold a conversation and challenge my beliefs on life, love, religion, politics and human nature. I am a horrible cook and I hate sports. I won't pretend to like things just to hang out with you. However, I will try anything at least once. If it is important to you, it will be important to me. People need to be independent and maintain an existence separate from their mate. You watch football and I'll read a book, shop, or visit friends. It's a good balance.My interests: architecture, philosophy, psychology, law, current events, politics, animals, my nieces and nephews, the outdoors, hiking, the beach, reading, music, relaxation, sleep, documentaries, wine, coffee, blogging, writing, insider trading (seriously intrigues me)..Favorite food is white trash comfort foods.
