About Me

There's a difference between being alive and living. For this reason I count myself lucky for everyday I get above ground and always remember to make what I have count as opposed to counting what I have. Karma, the Golden Rule or whatever you choose to call it is a big part of the type of person I aspire to be.I'm told I am awesome but I believe that is only because I surround myself with even more awesome people and they rub off on me! I can get along with and find something in common with most awesome individuals, after all I find everything and everyone to be the same but different. Don't argue that point...I'm always right except when I'm wrong and more than willing to admit I am only wrong when I'm not right!I have several interests and if I've not tried it, I'm generally willing to give it my best shot once or twice, more if laughter was involved. I enjoy living an active life...work, gym, and fun...not necessarily in that order. Meet me in the middle of a moonlit Chevy bench seat...

A little about me....I have a great group of friends (although I'm sure everyone feels this way-otherwise they wouldn't be your friends), but I promise if you met them you would agree! These are some of the things I like to do: First Friday on the Green, Concerts in the Gardens, local tastings, The Kimbell, antiquing (please don't be scared, remember the friends I mentioned earlier-they can go in your place! I love what I do and want to give fair warning, I talk about it a lot. The idea of having a "job," where you just go in, work and leave isn't something I really understand. Everyday I get to see kiddos learning and growing-it's pretty fantastic! And here's the tough part-what I'm looking for. I don't want to answer anything cookie cutter because let's be honest we all want someone nice, that makes us laugh and that we are attracted to. I tend to like men that are passionate about their careers (whatever it is), quirky and a bit on the nerdy side (so in a way someone that compliments my personality). And now a little more about me: I'm quirky, I tend to talk a lot, I'm a morning person (sorry but true), I can cook about four things really well and the rest....lets just say I put a lot of effort in. My faith is my foundation. Being involved in your community makes it better! Saturday mornings are my favorite time of the week-they just feel different. I do agree that wedges are the heels of your thirties. I adore the elderly, we have so much to learn from them. Patio weather and live music makes the world a beautiful place. A cold schooner on a hot day with a friend and a great story is pretty amazing. My dog is hilarious. I'm an active volunteer with some wonderful organizations. I'm addicted to passion tea from Starbucks, and super allergic to diet coke. A picnic in the park can set the world right. These are some of my favorite quotes:Your beliefs don't make you a better person, your behavior does. A book is proof that humans can work magic. If the whole world was blind, how many people would you impress? You can tell how smart people are by what they laugh at. I hope that gives you a little insight into me-if only tone and wit could come through! I'd love to hear from you if you are interested, and if not, good luck on your search.

STOP HERE BEFORE YOU MESSAGE ME OR TAKE THE TIME TO READ ABOUT ME PLEASE!There are some things I can tell you right off the bat will not get you a response from me.1. If you do not have a picture. I'm not shallow... You could be any person and when I dont see a picture, I'm assuming you're married or have way too many ex's that dislike you. It's shady. Just saying. 2. If you're my ex... Go away no one likes you. 3. If you say "whats up ma!", "damn yo your sexy", or something like "hey baby.ushudcallmesometime.illtreatyarealgood" 4. If any of your pics contains a duck face or you arent smiling. And keep your shirts on. 5. Guys, if your place is discusting and youre taking a selfie, CLEAN UP YOUR CRAP or find a better place for a pic. Dont message me if you live like a slob. I dont need to see the mold growing up your bathroom wall or your blinds broken and hanging with duct tape. 6. If you havent taken the time to read my page. Also, if you are looking for a casual date/ nothing serious or just looking. We are immediately not on the same page. Please move on. These are here for a reason. A lot of guys online are rediculous but if you are capable of understanding my putting it out there and are really looking for something, than please read on! :)So much I could say... I'm here looking for a real man. I'm a real woman and genuine. I expect the same. I'd love to meet someone I can adore and just be unconditionally in love with and vice versa. I like trying anything once and appreciate a good laugh. There is a time and a place for everything so when I can be silly and careless... I will be. When I need to be polite and proper I don't mind either. I respect someone with class and a sense of humor. I appreciate a man who has all of his ducks in a row. I look up to that. My wish is to fall in love with a man who would do the same for me. We don't need a holiday or a special occasion for a small surprise or a candle over pizza dinner (or lobster dinner)... I like surprises and I love it when someone, be it friends or family, takes the time to really think about what would make me happy. big or little, if there is thought to it then I am the happiest person and I treat others the same. If you are still reading then SWEET! message me! The first date should be simple. It's a time to get to know one another and bond. I am a hopeless romantic.... I love surprises and I love when someone cares enough to take the time to do something special and personal for me but I don't expect this on the first date. :) Let's chat and go from there. If it leads to a first date, we will know what to do. Most important, it will be something where we can be ourselves! :)
