In my spare time I enjoy practicing and teaching yoga; reading; spending time outside; and relaxing. After a day bustling around HRM, substitute teaching in the school system, ***, and teaching spin/spynga classes, I enjoy and appreciate some peace and quiet! Staying active is an important part of my life and, ideally, I would like to be with someone who enjoys to do some of the same things. I like biking, hiking, and going to the gym (I recently joined and love it!)I am a very compassionate, sensitive, and determined person. Despite the fact that I have been told I must dye my hair brown, I am an intelligent woman who is very level headed and responsible. I am loyal, honest, patient and optimistic; I pride myself for my ability to see the positive side of things. Music - I love music. I grew up playing the piano and did my undergrad in piano performance. While my background is in classical music, I appreciate all genres and, yes, even the top 40 hits (which makes some of my music friends cringe!)I would love to do some travelling over the next few years... I also want to travel to Europe. I've had a trip brewing in the back of my mind for about 9 years now. I'd like to make it happen over the next 2-3. I would not hesitate going to South America again, by myself... however, the trip to Europe I've always envisioned with a significant other.I'd like to spend time with someone who is:- respectful - stable- loving, kind and honest- sensitive and who has the capacity to express his emotions Something short and low-key, maybe we could go for a coffee or something...
