About Me

I must say Men complain that Women are Shallow must say that Men are as well. I shaved my head in support of those with cancer which is very personal to me I personally have lost close relatives to this battle. I like giving back to those who have supported me through the years and by doing this I want to donate to Locks of Love, however due to previous ex's turning me into there image of me my hair was too damaged to do so. My only option was to shave it and its summer so I did it, hopefully ill have more when it gets cold.. But rather than being commended for this feat I have decided to take on which really isn't easy for women due to the social reject esp. reject stemming from Male opinions of what a Woman should look like. Men whom not three days ago wanted to go out on a date with me. In my opinion if you cant understand and respect my decisions then you really weren't worth my time... Let's see *takes a deep breath looks at her cards and calls* I'm a single mother of three, two girls and and an angel. My youngest lives with her father, due to the distance I get her every other weekend. My eldest lives with me and I'm taking care of her on my own her father has chosen to be absent. Some think my subscriptions have subscriptions themselves but I guess that's what makes me. 32 years of trauma have blessed me with ptsd, mdd, conversion disorder, anxiety, and bipolar... I know I've been slapped with a text book right... I'm seeing a therapist, and I am finally on proper meds and am feeling so much better.. Also due to being born severely premature with complications, I contracted hep-c from a blood transfusion... Trust its not something I like saying let alone telling people, but I'm real and I don't believe in hiding things and surprising people later down the road. But due to all this my doctors have taken me out of work temporarily so I can heal.. I have a service/therapy dog who I love and in the past 8 months she has become an extension of me, she goes everywhere with me, she understands me at times more then I have understood myself. I honestly can't see life without her... I tend to walk a lot, I have chosen to not have a car for the time being and I let my licence expire. I use to blade, bike, goto the gym (I want to go back), row (crew), hike, and ski... Due to a dip showing off to one of the snow patrol chicks at my work I ended up snowballing down a hill severely damaging my right knee. In use a PTO brace a good part of the time and surprisingly I manage to do things. Seeing how its my rightly knee it also makes driving long distances troublesome at times.... Got a couple of other minor things that I work through, but I feel like I'm rambling and possibly scared y'all off.... :***aspect from online dating is weather or not the person is appealing and worth the bother to make the attempt at saying hi first. I understand that it can be intimidating trust me I know this one. But the intimidation would lessen if there was a pic representing YOU not the you you think everyone wants to see. YOU.. OH and this isn't Myspace, I'm not interested what the inside of your bathroom looks like... I am not a gold digger I have lived a very frugal life and have learned what matters and what doesn't, I'm not looking for someone to carry my baggage for me, in not looking to carry someone else's baggage mines heavy enough, all I want is someone to walk the rest of this journey we call life with me. I don't feel like that's too much to ask. In a very simple person, it's the little things that matter most to me. So I guess I'm saying I'd rather have a million tiny memories then one big one...I also like to feed my inner nerd, I like to play World of Warcraft in my spare time, I hear companies like hiring people who play seems like they work harder, so why not have a significant other who plays betcha she'll clean the house better .....I would also like to state that I had my tubes tied back in ***so any interest of having kids may be problematic...I am also not a booty call so please do not contact me looking for a cheap trick. I am looking for something real something worth bringing home to my kids. I have also been celibate for 7 months now and I intend on keeping it that way for a while.I'm looking to find the one, I know he exists. My ideal Man that I would appreciate to share my life with must contain 5 or more of these qualities in any order: doesn't smoke or trying to quit or if you do not around me and my kids, must love dogs, must love kids, believe in me, understand that if you want something out of me if your polite then your more likely to get it, if you expect me to work out with you I would be more then happy to but understand that I have a bad knee injury that didn't heal right and problems with my shoulder stemming from being trampled by a horse, must have a sense of humor and want to make me laugh because you love the sound of my laugh, I am deathly afraid of heights well more of falling then anything so rock climbing outside of a gym probably wont happen, I do like to go out and socialize concerts every so often lol but no floor unless there's a seat for me to sit in lol (comes with age I swear or the fact I wreaked my body in my younger concert years), movies is a definite, must like music and all kinds I like a variety yeah rock rap soul jazz etc are all ok but I cant listen to just one I have mixes that would baffle you, be a gentleman open doors for me, understand that my ideal relationship is very old fashioned. I'm not a gold digger so diamonds aren't in my eyes my favorite stone is my birthstone. Be sensitive Well before the potential first date can take place, some intelligent conversation needs to take place. I understand and acknowledge that I am very beautiful and my best feature has been said to be my eyes. I'm a rare breed, to me a good conversation is better then sitting there conversing over how hot you are or what you would like to do with me. I'm not looking for a sugar daddy and I am not livestock, I am an intelligent woman who likes to be treated with class. I tell people if you won't say it in front of your mother then don't bother. My kids are my world and it would be a while before I introduce them to anyone. Aside from all that hello I'm Lisa my favorite game is 50 questions (nothing x rated) you can go first...... :-)

Well, I am a single mom of a 11 year old son. He lives with me full time but please know that I am not looking for a father for him, he has one. But it is important you like children. What I am looking for, an honest man who wants to grow old together. I want someone I connect with. Someone who gets me. I want all the normal things one would look for in a partner, honesty, love, compassion, understanding, loyalty, trust, fun, sense of humor, a backbone, stability, finacial responsibility, and well the list could go on forever, you know where I'm going with this. I just want someone who can prove to me that love does exsist and that I can find it again! Physically, I like big guys, a little facial hair is nice, taller than me is a definite plus, and someone with a nice smile who have all their teeth (yes this may seem a little superfical, but it is what I like, just as you may have certain things you prefer) But overall I do not base my relationship on looks. My physical appearance, well I like to think I am attractive. I have been told I am pretty :) I am a plus sized girl, bigger than I want to be, so I am a work in progress.(if you are not into big girls, that is perfectly fine, just don't *** to get to know me, then blow me off because of it. that is why I am telling you upfront :) I am 5'7" I have medium dark brown hair, shoulder length right now. growing it out. Hmmmm... anything else feel free to send me an *** look forward to meeting some great guys :)I am looking for something serious (obviously I know it takes time to get to that point, but that is what I want the outcome to be! If you are looking for short term or a one night stand, look elsewhere. Not interested at all. I want to find someone local. I don't want to travel far for dates and such, I have a son and work 2 jobs so I want someone close so we can spend actual time together. I am not into games and please don't call me hun or baby while you are *** You don't know me yet and that is for people who are a couple. :) I like a first date to be as laid back as possible. I prefer a place we can talk and get to know each other. Nothing too outrageous. Something where both parties are comfortable.

    1. Well, as listed under interests, one of my hobbies is acting. I do several shows a year at a community theater, and it takes up a lot of my time. I also act with a troupe that does a living chessboard at a nearby medieval faire. I work at my church a lot - singing, working with the teens. I don't suppose that's really a hobby, but in my book it is - it certainly takes up enough of my time. I also paint, though I seem to be doing that less and less. I paint sets for almost all of the shows that I work on, and that seems to be the only time I pick up a paintbrush lately. I enjoy doing lots of things, so don't count something out just because I didn't list it here - ask me!2. My ultimate goal is to get paid to travel for a living - preferably doing something like photography. However, if we're being realistic, it's just to keep getting paid for a job I love doing. I do programs for children and teens at a public library. It's a job that lets me perform, have fun, and be creative!3. Talk about myself? Hmmm... Well for one thing, I can't stand stupid people. It sounds harsh, but really I just want to be able to have an intelligent conversation with someone. I love to laugh at the ridiculous - I have a blog I write about all the crazy things that people around me say and do. I am extremely independent - I don't like people to become dependent upon me for happiness, or to become too clingy. I'm on this site as kind of a lark, since right now my schedule is so jam-packed I don't know how I can fit in a relationship. I love to perform and entertain. I'm sarcastic and witty - though more so online than in person, I think. I've been bitten by the travel bug, and have a thirst for learning about different cultures and seeing many different places. I've been to 6 different countries and pretty much want to go to all the rest of them. Major anglophile. I love all things British (esp. TV shows)!4. My taste in music varies somewhat, but it's safe to say I like indie/alternative. I also like classic rock and grew up listening to my parents' albums - Something simple. Lunch date is best, that way you can cut your losses if things don't go as well as planned. Though that's more for a blind date or someone you don't know that well. If it's someone you've talked to awhile, it could be different, but a meal is a great way to talk and get to know someone.
