1. Well, as listed under interests, one of my hobbies is acting. I do several shows a year at a community theater, and it takes up a lot of my time. I also act with a troupe that does a living chessboard at a nearby medieval faire. I work at my church a lot - singing, working with the teens. I don't suppose that's really a hobby, but in my book it is - it certainly takes up enough of my time. I also paint, though I seem to be doing that less and less. I paint sets for almost all of the shows that I work on, and that seems to be the only time I pick up a paintbrush lately. I enjoy doing lots of things, so don't count something out just because I didn't list it here - ask me!2. My ultimate goal is to get paid to travel for a living - preferably doing something like photography. However, if we're being realistic, it's just to keep getting paid for a job I love doing. I do programs for children and teens at a public library. It's a job that lets me perform, have fun, and be creative!3. Talk about myself? Hmmm... Well for one thing, I can't stand stupid people. It sounds harsh, but really I just want to be able to have an intelligent conversation with someone. I love to laugh at the ridiculous - I have a blog I write about all the crazy things that people around me say and do. I am extremely independent - I don't like people to become dependent upon me for happiness, or to become too clingy. I'm on this site as kind of a lark, since right now my schedule is so jam-packed I don't know how I can fit in a relationship. I love to perform and entertain. I'm sarcastic and witty - though more so online than in person, I think. I've been bitten by the travel bug, and have a thirst for learning about different cultures and seeing many different places. I've been to 6 different countries and pretty much want to go to all the rest of them. Major anglophile. I love all things British (esp. TV shows)!4. My taste in music varies somewhat, but it's safe to say I like indie/alternative. I also like classic rock and grew up listening to my parents' albums - Something simple. Lunch date is best, that way you can cut your losses if things don't go as well as planned. Though that's more for a blind date or someone you don't know that well. If it's someone you've talked to awhile, it could be different, but a meal is a great way to talk and get to know someone.
