Glad you stopped by! :) A little about me: I'm an honest, creative, outgoing woman with a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor. I always try to treat others how I would want to be treated. I know what I'm looking for...basically, someone to have a great time with and see what happens. I love baseball season-you can find me relaxing and watching a ball game. What can be better than a woman who will watch sports and relax with you? (You can answer that one!) I like to work out at the gym ***times a week), go to the movies, play pool which I'm pretty decent at, Dave and Busters (hope you're up for some hoops competition), bowling, concerts, comedy clubs, etc. One of my favorite things is chocolate! Yes, I know, I'm a woman and what a shocker, I like chocolate! Hey, we all have our little vices, lol. Characteristics I'm looking for: honesty(not into playing games), down-to-Earth, laid back, can laugh with me at the silliest of times and be there for me at the serious times, accept my faults/quirks as I would do the same for him, smart, funny, family-oriented, and just a kid at heart at times. I look forward to hearing from you, so don't be shy and drop me a note :). I think a good first date would be meeting for coffee (hot chocolate for me) or somewhere quiet to talk in order to get to know the other person a little better.

1. Well, as listed under interests, one of my hobbies is acting. I do several shows a year at a community theater, and it takes up a lot of my time. I also act with a troupe that does a living chessboard at a nearby medieval faire. I work at my church a lot - singing, working with the teens. I don't suppose that's really a hobby, but in my book it is - it certainly takes up enough of my time. I also paint, though I seem to be doing that less and less. I paint sets for almost all of the shows that I work on, and that seems to be the only time I pick up a paintbrush lately. I enjoy doing lots of things, so don't count something out just because I didn't list it here - ask me!2. My ultimate goal is to get paid to travel for a living - preferably doing something like photography. However, if we're being realistic, it's just to keep getting paid for a job I love doing. I do programs for children and teens at a public library. It's a job that lets me perform, have fun, and be creative!3. Talk about myself? Hmmm... Well for one thing, I can't stand stupid people. It sounds harsh, but really I just want to be able to have an intelligent conversation with someone. I love to laugh at the ridiculous - I have a blog I write about all the crazy things that people around me say and do. I am extremely independent - I don't like people to become dependent upon me for happiness, or to become too clingy. I'm on this site as kind of a lark, since right now my schedule is so jam-packed I don't know how I can fit in a relationship. I love to perform and entertain. I'm sarcastic and witty - though more so online than in person, I think. I've been bitten by the travel bug, and have a thirst for learning about different cultures and seeing many different places. I've been to 6 different countries and pretty much want to go to all the rest of them. Major anglophile. I love all things British (esp. TV shows)!4. My taste in music varies somewhat, but it's safe to say I like indie/alternative. I also like classic rock and grew up listening to my parents' albums - Something simple. Lunch date is best, that way you can cut your losses if things don't go as well as planned. Though that's more for a blind date or someone you don't know that well. If it's someone you've talked to awhile, it could be different, but a meal is a great way to talk and get to know someone.
