Warning- this bio is a long one, might want to grab a sandwich and get comfortable.I'm a midwestern girl and I continue to hold those beliefs- family, loyalty, respect, and compassion are values I feel are a necessity. I'm also well known to be an extremely caring and reliable person, I truly love going the extra mile to do something just to make someone smile. I'm looking to meet someone who's genuine, someone with a positive attitude and who is serious about what they want from life- and has the confidence to go for it. Patience, drive, and strength are important characteristics to me.; someone I can lean on and equally lean on me . I know what I want and when I see it I'm the type who dives in- don't see much point in limiting myself from what could be a great experience. Communication is also a huge deal for me- life is just too short to waste time playing games! I get along best with people who are comfortable being direct yet respectful :)Like a lot of people I've spent the majority of my life focused on things that are less than really important. And, as a result, over the last couple of years I've missed out on experiencing all I can in life. Going forward, I would really like to share these experiences with someone. Mainly just to have someone there to take photos of me so I don’t have to attempt self portraits Some random facts:-I love to clean.-I really like doing home improvement projects... and I do know how to use a table saw-I hate insects (that includes butterflies and ladybugs), but I did intern with the reptile curator at a zoo and worked with snakes. This is somewhat backwards, I know.-My mom is one of my best friends.-I've tried to teach myself Russian. Twice. The only this that stuck was "vodka".-If I won the lottery I wouldn't quit my job and I'd give most of it to family, friends, and a few charities-Nothing can break me, I've overcome incredible odds beginning at birth and there's not a single circumstance that I cannot beatLife is short.     Here's the cliff notes:I'm a simple down to earth woman who was raised country and living the city life. I love camping, fishing & going for a hike in the mountains but I also love the beach & the feel of sand between my toes.     Hi, I'm not your typically Southern Californian woman. You won't find me dragging you to department stores to shop, watching sapping chick flicks and asking you if these pants make me look fat. :-)I love sports (football, baseball, hockey and basketball). I'm not into the club scene and I haven't had much luck with bars etc. I have a big family (siblings, nephew, cousins, 2nd cousins etc.) that I am close with. Most of my relatives live close and I try spend time with them through trips, holidays, dinners etc. I am grateful to have such wonderful people who are both welcoming and understanding.I'm looking for a strong, mature man who can handle my long work hours. Someone who is kind and considerate but not super sensitive. A man who enjoys going to games, traveling, going out or staying in with a glass of wine and a good book or movie.
