About Me

Hi, I'm not your typically Southern Californian woman. You won't find me dragging you to department stores to shop, watching sapping chick flicks and asking you if these pants make me look fat. :-)I love sports (football, baseball, hockey and basketball). I tend to travel to games and on my 'to do list' is to visit all the baseball parks, which I'm starting this year.) I would like to travel outside the United States and I'm looking for someone who would like to do the same. I've hiked up Half Dome 3 times and I would enjoy doing it again. If you haven't done it, I would highly recommend it!! I like to cook and bake. I try to find time to do so in my busy schedule. My speciality is desserts and I enjoy trying new recipes. However, I do eat healthy and stay active (going to the gym, cycling etc.). I am a Clinical Supervisor for a private company that helps people who have special needs. I love my job but, I tend to work long hours, so I don't get the opportunity to meet new people. I'm not into the club scene and I haven't had much luck with bars etc. I have a big family (siblings, nephew, cousins, 2nd cousins etc.) that I am close with. Most of my relatives live close and I try spend time with them through trips, holidays, dinners etc. I am grateful to have such wonderful people who are both welcoming and understanding.I'm looking for a strong, mature man who can handle my long work hours. Someone who is kind and considerate but not super sensitive. A man who enjoys going to games, traveling, going out or staying in with a glass of wine and a good book or movie.     Beep, beep boop... Whoohoo good weather ahead :D This is the best time of year! Time to bake all kinds of yummy things, go camping, fishing, get outdoors and get out in the mountains and hike a bit. I'm super happy fishing at a quiet lake or laying around looking at the clouds in the afternoon or the stars by a campfire at night. I'm fairly introverted, and prefer to stay in or with family or with close friends whose company I truly enjoy. I have a son, and he's awesome. He's smart and such a good kid. He gets good grades, follows directions, doesn't whine or complain, and is polite and caring. Was in the service for several years and lived in Europe and loved it. I love Boondock Saints, Tarantino movies, Grumpier Old Men, Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Return to Me, An Affair to Remember, The Notebook, Across the Universe, and Masterpiece Classics on PBS/BBC.I'm not perfect, and I'm sure you're not either. I'm fairly shy, love harmony, a bit chubby, very cuddly, poor, easy to make happy, peaceful, and dont go to a church, or a gym. I dont have a job other than being a mom right now. I'm doing some physical therapy at the VA hospital for a spinal injury and taking some classes there. I dont follow what other people do, and think for myself. I just am what I am, and I want to find an actual sweet guy to enjoy time with that makes time to just relax and cuddle up with me and if it works... cool. :D If not, there's always someone else who will like me. I'm a chick, it's really not that hard for me. I'm as nice to you as you are to me. I dont know what the future holds, but if you're not good to me, I dont stick around.
