I seek freedom and balance in my life and as a result I'm free from working a ***job for someone else (which I love) but it has left my social life a little empty since I work from my home office. I have a curious and open mind, love to listen and learn, find the positive in everything, and believe anything can be done with a little courage (okay... sometimes a lot of courage). I am honest, really. If you can handle that we'll get along well. I love to eat real food, freshly harvested and prepared (foraging is best but I'm still learning). I enjoy an active life style but I'm not driven to compete or over extend my energy with ultra endurance or super competitive team sports. Being part of a great night of witty banter and conversation over a few drinks would be an awesome evening but I don't like the bar scene or sports viewing fanatics. I'm an adventurer and explorer at heart.I have lived from coast to coast and driven it too... achieving that dream has helped me decide that more of the world must be travelled but I know I will always enjoy a winter home there. I hope to find someone who wants to travel and change and experience this life as much as I do, but interesting characters along the way help make for a great story too.If you read something you like - send me a message to share that thought. Who I am:I am 31 and owning it. I own my house and have made it my own...lots of work!I am a woman who may enjoy a stiff drink, or sometimes a few....but I don't enjoy hanging out at bars until 2 am anymore. I've grown out of that.I am a woman who can enjoy a good burger, but I really to care for my health. Extra pounds? Yes, but working on it and it's important to me to maintain a healthy lifestyle.I don't expect a man to take care of me financially, but I expect him to at least be able to support himself by this age.I love playing volleyball, tennis and am addicted to zumba! Maintaining relationships is important, and we should never take the people in our lives for granted. I believe first dates need to be kept simple, and quiet enough where you can hold a good conversation. And it shouldn't be so scary, if it doesn't work out...maybe you've made a new friend, if not...not big deal - it's all part of meeting people. Keep on keepin' on.

Nice to see that you have taken the time to check out my profile. Don't be shy or worried about what to say when you send me a message, because some of the best conversations can be started with just a simple "hello, how are you?". The whole idea is to see if you can develop a longer conversation from a simple start. In other words, do you have what it takes?!?!Well to get this thing going I should probably tell you a little about myself. I've been told that I don't fit into the typical average type of woman. I have a wide range of interests and can fit in with just about any type of personality. I've gone through my share of rough times and obviously I've worked my way through them and have managed to keep moving forward with my life. I do have 3 kids, who are the most precious gifts I could have ever asked for. I'm not going to say that they are angels, because they aren't. They have their moments just like any other kid does, but we take one day at a time and work through any frustrations that they have together. Family is very important to me and I try to stay in touch as much as possible. Just for your information, we don't have any drama in our lives; however, my kids keep telling me that I need to find a great guy because they want a dad. (Short story if you would like to know more) Their ideal match for me would be a guy that fits the whole "; personality. As my oldest keeps telling me that I remind him of "Miss Kay". So yes, I was raised a tomboy and love to get dirty just as much as I love to dress up for a night out. I was also raised with religion being a huge priority and I still see it as being that; however, I'm more flexible with teaching my children and being involved with Church. I also try to be involved with the Community and my kids' school. I like to stay active and expose my children to the world around us in taking mini vacations that have some sense of history to them. I grew up being taught a wide range of values and the one that has stuck with me the most is the value of a mother should always be there for her kids and that she is responsible for the upkeep of the house. Now having said that, I have worked very hard to establish myself to the point of being able to work from home. It's not easy, but I'm a firm believer in that success is only created if you put the hard work into making it. We have set several goals for ourselves for the near future and we are working very hard towards accomplishing those goals. So I guess you could say that I have a rather busy life, but I'm willing to make time for the right guy.To give you a little bit of an idea of who the right guy just might be, here are some of the things that I look for. As I mentioned above, my kids think that the "; personality is perfect. To break that down some, hunting, 4wheeling, fishing, being outdoors, camping, being on the river, farming, gardening, animals, and anything else that you could add to this whole category are huge interests.
