I am very proud of raising 2 kids on my own and then took care of my parents for 3 years until they both passed, 8 months apart from each other. I sure learned alot in that time including the kind of love that I wanted when I watched my parents grow old. In sickness and in health, did they ever love each other. I am somewhat old fashioned and sometimes think the man should be approaching me first but it doesnt happen most of the time, so I end up messaging them first most of the time. Everyone acts like they have all the time in the world, but we have no control over it.At this age I have alot of love to give and receive and now I know exactly what I dont want.
