Thanks to help from family, I now have a sunroom overlooking the water and a 'woman cave' in the works in the basement. I like baking, sometimes cooking but I'd rather be playing Rock Band and let someone else do the cooking LOL. Ok, I can compromise, so we cook together and then play Rock Band together. This is my new favorite winter hobby ... learning to play an *** vocals. My body can no longer handle the cold weather... brrr. I do like to traveI and would aspire to spend a month or two in a warm climate in the winter. What have you been doing for the past 40, 50, or 60 years?I am retired from the software industry and after a short stint buying and selling antiques, I'm now sticking with buying jewelry wholesale which I sell on eBay and rent space in a local store. This is 'fun' money. I am financially stable and love living a simple lifestyle. I volunteer for 2 non-profits and do whatever I can to help from painting, fiberglassing and sweeping floors to building and updating websites! I am thankful to have the opportunity to meet and talk to new people!I would love to find a man with integrity and intelligence (can't stress that enough - my daughter is a Fulbright Scholar). A man who is positive, loving and wants to have fun, laugh, and finds the silver lining in all situations. Drama and games are not allowed in my life. Hi. Thanks for taking a minute to stop by and read more about me. I have learned that some people say what you want to hear, and then they are nothing like what they describe. I am a country girl who enjoys the simple things in life. I love being outside walking, fishing, gardening, or just sitting in the sun. I hate drama and men that try and control me. Been there, done that, no thanks. I am witty and love to have a good time. I like to listen to bands and dance, movies, cookouts, cornhole, etc. I like all types of music depending on my mood. I can cry in my beer, or jam and dance around the room, just depends. Must not smoke. I want someone who is sincere, and not afraid to show, or tell me how they feel. I don't like people that are fake or pretend to be better than others. Communication is so important in any relationship. I love a man with a good sense of humor, and who likes to have fun. I am old-fashioned, so I like a man with manners. Unlike so many people today, I still have morals. I think too much of myself to be any different. So, if you are looking for 'that', move on to the next fish. I consider myself intelligent and I find an intelligent man easier to talk to. I have a 19 year old son who is the light of my life. He is super intelligent and, of course, handsome. lol. I am a home owner and financially secure. I am lonely and would like to find someone to spend some time with, even as just friends.
