I am a young at heart, fun-loving woman, with a keen sense of curiosity and adventure in trying new things. Yes, I am ***pics are current), so I have experienced enough of life to know what I like and don't like. However, I am very open minded when it comes to religion, politics and sex (no, I am not easy...am very particular). I have been divorced for almost 5 years and have a grown daughter in college, so I'm ready to get out and have some fun! I have 1 dog, so you must love animals to hang with me:). I also have a sweet cabin on the river, so fun and beauty is right outside my door. I love to do lots of things outdoors, walking, hiking, swimming, hitting the beach, canoeing, attending festivals, flea markets, live music, etc. Also love to garden, cook, watch movies and documentaries, as well as comedy central. Hanging out with my good friends and a bottle of wine is great too. I really love to travel and still want to see much of the U.S.. I love all types of music, but not heavy-duty country. I'm a rocker at heart, but lately, have been into folksy bluegrass stuff, but a few months ago it was all about Amy Winehouse:).I like men who are confident, but not boastful, financially stable, but not rich, good-looking, but not lady-killers, intelligent, but not condescending. An open, curious mind is also high on my list of likes to have.     First of all, I think that intent question is too black or white! Let me clarify...I am not into serial dating at all, but am not necessarily on the hunt for a relationship. Now about me.....hmmmmm I am a relatively busy single mom. I have an 18 year old son and soon, my time will be all mine. I am friendly, funny, and basically spunky. I have a fairly warped sense of humor. I work out about 5 days a week and am in good shape. I can't decide if I'm athletic, or average, or thin. I think it's all relative. I'm kind of little and cute, I'm told. Eventually, something more permanent is no longer off the table. At first, I had no interest in a serious relationship, but after 6 years, it's not quite so scary.     Oh geez, so new at this. I came from a background of working very hard - started working at a horse stable at age 11, pitching manure to earn my first horse (at 50 cents an hour). Worked my way up to training, showing, etc horses. Love horses. Unfortunately, no longer involved but wish I were. I work in Mutual Funds now at a bank. Would love to meet someone who is casual, loving, likes the outdoors or a quiet night at home, and travel. I like anything from having a couple beers with friends around a camp fire, to enjoying a great meal on the beach in the Caribbean. I enjoy drawing (art, horses mainly of course), music - still trying to learn guitar - lol. Love obscure books, great poetry. Love to laugh, am an excellent cook. Family comes first (love my nieces & nephews to pieces). I have been moved deeply by volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, the Veterans Home, and other organizations. Would love to meet up, but need to take a time out for a couple months. Just found out I have cancer & need to go through treatment for a couple months. I am in a positive frame of mind & know I can kick the big C in the teeth. So fellas, give me some time off & try again in a couple months.
