Woman. 54 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 51-61
My hobbies are photography, gardening and swimming, running, snorkelinga and enjoying the outdoors. I dread winter. I really prefer a man that can keep himself fit, that uses his leg and arm muscles more than his jaw to chew.I do not want to hear from deadbeats or liars. I am very independent but would like to find a man that can accept that. A man that is interesting to talk to, honest, adventurous, caring, and just gets me. I do not want to hear from any guy here that considers it a financial hardship or a burden to take a woman to dinner and pay. I am old-fashioned. I realize this site is free so had to be honest, no offense. My music is jazz, rock, chill, classical. Depends on my mood. I like dinner for a first date - you can check each other out face to face in a public setting and get to know them better. If you consider paying as a burden and a hardship, then move on.

Like a child I look at the world (and beyond) with curiosity, fascination, and a sense of awe.Shared values are far more important to me than shared interest.......... values define who you are, interest define what you enjoy. I always enjoy being exposed to new ideas and activities (I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours), who knows, perhaps I will gain a new interest,... and/or visa versa.But,.. if your values don't include: concern for the suffering of others, caring for the environment, showing respect, having empathy, feeling gratitude, developing trust, being honest, living with integrity, and kindness, it won't matter that we enjoy the same music, films, activities or food!.Of course having a sprinkling of shared sensibilities helps... oh and "Chemistry"?..... elusive at best...... perhaps a sense of connection? In my experience chemistry evolves as connections come into focus..... we each like what we see, and we both desire more and more ...... and more!!! .....well,... you get the picture.....(do you?)Caring for your health is the key to staying alive. So I try to integrate "working out" into my daily life. I start the day with "Yo-latis" my own special blend of yoga & palates. When I'm alone I often crank up some Techno Dance Music (or anything with a strong beat) and dance with abandon,...true ABANDON!Love the great outdoors, it's the worlds largest gym! I enjoy running (as opposed to "walking") on the beach, cross country skiing, long challenging hikes,(and short ones as well), mountain biking (need a new bike) riding (need a new horse). Even gardening can provide a great workout. Being in nature restores my soul and brings me clarity.I should mention that among many other things I very much enjoy the physical aspects of a monogamous, committed, relationship. Developing such a relationship takes time spent together, coming to know each other on a truly meaningful level, and building a deep seated trust for one another.
