I am a happy, energetic, and the glass is half full type of person that looks at the bright side of life. I believe that every grey cloud has a silver lining. I enjoy engaging conversations and also really love life and all it has to offer on the fun and goofy side. Gentle teasing and playfulness is an awesome way to keep the emotional, passionate and deep feelings alive between two people. My parents were married for 63 years and I watched it between them until the end. I like to fish, camp (tent, trailer and hotel), motorcycle ride, snowmobile, dance(free style, country, swing, and ballroom), travel and country music. I also enjoy more quiet activities, such as a glass of wine in a cabin, by the fire while looking out at a snowstorm, walking and dancing in the moonlight, and walking at night when it is really cold so you hear the snow crunch under your feet and see it sparkle in the light, Have you ever danced under the stars listening to your favorite song holding your honey close to your heart? Does canoeing or riding a bicycle built for two interest you? I pretty much will try anything once and really haven't found anything yet I do not care for (that I can remember.)I would enjoy meeting your groups of friends and hope they are like mine so that both of us would feel comfortable in each other's personal life. There are many more things I enjoy but that would be a great starter for the next round of communication. Oh, except, I love to cook and bake for anyone that appreciates food that is not eaten out of a box. :) Over and above all this though, is my love for my children whom have a very special place in my heart.Hmmmm....what would I like in a guy? I would like you to have a zest for life, yet be caring and sweet. I want to be with a man that feels it is important to watch over me, yet can let me be away from his side when out in public and not get jealous. Hopefully, you would want me back sooner than later; me knowing this by the look in your eyes. I do want a relationship with someone whom has the time. I am not really looking to be a weekend or every other week significant other. I would enjoy someone who likes to kick back and watch a movie once in a while but can throw on his shoes at a moments notice to walk around the city or head out of town for the weekend.     Hello,Self description is difficult for most of us and my hope is to present an honest view of my personality, desires, and needs.I will begin by saying that I choose to be a friend to myself. I have many good, nurturing friendships and am loved by many as I love them. I am grateful for all these friendships and I hope that I give them a portion of what I receive from them. I know first hand that God does turn bad things into good and many times it is demonstrated through other people. Without my family and friendships, I don't know that I would have weathered my storms as well as I did. I was married for more than 25 years (this is when you should offer BUT YOU DON'T LOOK OLD ENOUGH) and found myself as a single mother to a high school freshman. I had never lived on my own and discovered I could handle it, and handle it well. Here is one of my desires...to be married again but only to a GOOD man. As I said, I can live life single and will over a so so relationship.That high school freshman is now a rising senior at NCSU (go Pack!) and I am proud of the man he has turned out to be. I am a dog lover and any man who does not at least like dogs probably would not want to be in relationship with me. Current canines in residency are a silver lab and labradoodle. Needs....to continue to grow my relationship with God, work toward financial health, emotional health, and physical health. I do work daily on my relationship with God. Financial health in this economy, I must admit, requires diligence. As for emotional health, some days I find I am strong and other days - not as strong. Communicating and confiding with trusted friends and family helps this growth. Physical health requires more of myself than the others. I eat fairly healthy but fall short on fitness. Perhaps I need a partner?I enjoy about any kind of event - sports, music, plays, movies. I am outgoing and talkative and would talk to a wall if no one else is around. I confess, I make up songs about my pups and sing to them. I have an active library card and love to read. I read fiction, non-fiction, religious, spiritual, self-Good luck in your search!
