I love being outdoors, camping (in an RV...yes it's camping), BBQs with friend and family, festivals, going to flea markets, garage sales etc. I like to go bike riding and I would love to have some company and discover some new trails. On a saturday I like to just hop in my car and go wherever the road may take me with my camera to take some photographs of nature…stop for some breakfast, a picnic lunch or take the dogs on a walk on some of the nice walking trails. One of my passions is Avian rescue and I volunteer my time at a local bird rescue by fostering, doing administrative work and participating in their adoption or fundraising events. They are quite entertaining and very challenging. Some of my other interest are reading, listen to audio books, playing cards/board games, doing jigsaw puzzles or playing mahjong and other puzzle type computer games. I like all kinds of music, from the oldies to rock & roll or country, some rap is okay but not one of my favorites. I like to go see live music at outside venues rather than smokey bars.I am a very down to earth, happy person who loves to laugh and smile and make others smile. I don't like a lot of drama, I like a quiet uncomplicated life. My past relationships are just that in the past and I don't dwell on them, make comparisons or let them effect my future. I would not be the person I am today without what I learned from my past. I'm looking for someone that is also down to earth, romantic, patient, kind, tolerant, funny, respectful, and doesn't let small trivial matters get in the way of enjoying life and being happy. They also must be confident without conceit and know that everyone is an individual with their own way of doing things. You should allow a person to be who they are and walk their own path without imposing your expectations on them. If you are looking for slim, slender, average, athletic or height and weight proportionate, or in other words hung up on exterior qualities, then I'm probably not for you. I have some back problems which has prohibited most exercise but I have found meditation and some physical/aqua therapy excercises that are helpful and make a point to eat healthy (fruits and veggies *** breads and processed foods) so I'm back on the right track. If your looking for a witty, fun loving, kind, loyal, honest and patient person, who thinks hand holding, hugging and cuddling are important in a relationship, then send me a message, I would like to hear from you and get to know you better and see what happens. The least you will find is a new friend and who can have to many of those? A first date would have to be at a coffee shop like Bread company for a cup of coffee so we can talk and get to know each other.

    Enjoy 70s and 80s music most. But like just about any, except rap. Like to get out of the house after working all week, but love my time at home also. Do not care for over crowded places. Dancing, board games, billiards, kayaking, hiking, firearms/target practicing are just a few things I enjoy.
