I would prefer to meet someone at a nice restaurant that is quiet enough to be able to talk and get to know each other face to face. Obviously, not some place that wants to rush you in and out in a hurry. Depending on the time of year a basketball game / football game would also be a really fun first date, although you would not have lots of interaction. It would be fun to enjoy with someone though. There are so many options and I wouldn't limit a first date. I am open to any suggestions that would enable me to get to know the person better.
