The first kiss is extremely important as I truly believe affection and keeping the fire burning is the foundation of a great long lasting relationship. I am a happy, energetic, and the glass is half full type of person that looks at the bright side of life. I believe that every grey cloud has a silver lining. I enjoy engaging conversations and also really love life and all it has to offer on the fun and goofy side. My parents were married for 63 years and I watched it between them until the end. I like to fish, camp (tent, trailer and hotel), motorcycle ride, snowmobile, dance(free style, country, swing, and ballroom), travel and country music. I also enjoy more quiet activities, such as a glass of wine in a cabin, by the fire while looking out at a snowstorm, walking and dancing in the moonlight, and walking at night when it is really cold so you hear the snow crunch under your feet and see it sparkle in the light, Have you ever danced under the stars listening to your favorite song holding your honey close to your heart? Does canoeing or riding a bicycle built for two interest you? I pretty much will try anything once and really haven't found anything yet I do not care for (that I can remember.)I would enjoy meeting your groups of friends and hope they are like mine so that both of us would feel comfortable in each other's personal life. There are many more things I enjoy but that would be a great starter for the next round of communication. Oh, except, I love to cook and bake for anyone that appreciates food that is not eaten out of a box. :) Over and above all this though, is my love for my children whom have a very special place in my heart.Hmmmm....what would I like in a guy? I would like you to have a zest for life, yet be caring and sweet. I want to be with a man that feels it is important to watch over me, yet can let me be away from his side when out in public and not get jealous. Hopefully, you would want me back sooner than later; me knowing this by the look in your eyes. I do want a relationship with someone whom has the time. I am not really looking to be a weekend or every other week significant other. I would enjoy someone who likes to kick back and watch a movie once in a while but can throw on his shoes at a moments notice to walk around the city or head out of town for the weekend. I love being outdoors, camping (in an RV...yes it's camping), BBQs with friend and family, festivals, going to flea markets, garage sales etc. I like to go bike riding and I would love to have some company and discover some new trails. On a saturday I like to just hop in my car and go wherever the road may take me with my camera to take some photographs of nature…stop for some breakfast, a picnic lunch or take the dogs on a walk on some of the nice walking trails. One of my passions is Avian rescue and I volunteer my time at a local bird rescue by fostering, doing administrative work and participating in their adoption or fundraising events. They are quite entertaining and very challenging. Some of my other interest are reading, listen to audio books, playing cards/board games, doing jigsaw puzzles or playing mahjong and other puzzle type computer games. I like all kinds of music, from the oldies to rock & roll or country, some rap is okay but not one of my favorites. I like to go see live music at outside venues rather than smokey bars.I am a very down to earth, happy person who loves to laugh and smile and make others smile. I don't like a lot of drama, I like a quiet uncomplicated life. My past relationships are just that in the past and I don't dwell on them, make comparisons or let them effect my future. I would not be the person I am today without what I learned from my past. I'm looking for someone that is also down to earth, romantic, patient, kind, tolerant, funny, respectful, and doesn't let small trivial matters get in the way of enjoying life and being happy. They also must be confident without conceit and know that everyone is an individual with their own way of doing things. You should allow a person to be who they are and walk their own path without imposing your expectations on them. If you are looking for slim, slender, average, athletic or height and weight proportionate, or in other words hung up on exterior qualities, then I'm probably not for you. I have some back problems which has prohibited most exercise but I have found meditation and some physical/aqua therapy excercises that are helpful and make a point to eat healthy (fruits and veggies *** breads and processed foods) so I'm back on the right track. If your looking for a witty, fun loving, kind, loyal, honest and patient person, who thinks hand holding, hugging and cuddling are important in a relationship, then send me a message, I would like to hear from you and get to know you better and see what happens. The least you will find is a new friend and who can have to many of those? A first date would have to be at a coffee shop like Bread company for a cup of coffee so we can talk and get to know each other.
