Where do I begin? How about I am active, fun and funny with multiple interests including movies and museums, bikes and books, travel, tennis and theatre, golf (okay I mostly like the driving range) and going new places, with an insatiable appetite for adventure and activity and, of yes, you must love dogs. I keep myself busy and would love to find someone to share some of my interests and would welcome the opportunity to explore your interests. For as busy as I can be, I love those nights cuddling with that special guy on the couch with a glass of wine and having a good conversation - a fireplace would be an extra bonus but I don't have one :(I love the outdoors and always welcome the opportunity to do things outside whether it's gardening, hiking, walking the dog, ice skating, biking or boating. I would like to start playing tennis again and would love to find a hitting partner. I can always find an outdoor activity I like no matter what the season and would hope you like the outdoors too. I am kind and caring and love my family and friends and hope you like people too. My niece and nephews have stolen my heart and I love spending time with them.     I like to think I'm a good listener or at least I try very hard to be. I like to read body language. I also try very hard not to judge because it will only come back to me in form of bad karma or close me off to the possibility of knowing someone deeply. I like to sew and design things (wall hangings, quilts, tools, clothes) and build or repair things. I don't like hanging out in the sun. I love the ocean and camping. I don't cook but am a fan of those who do. I like working out at the gym. I used to be a Civil War reenactor, thinking about maybe getting involved with it again. I like wearing frilly clothes. I've been told by others that I'm weird (don't know what that means) but it's always (I mean always) said with a smile and great fondness. I like watching baseball/football but only with others. I'm pretty comfortable in my own skin. I can stay calm under pressure (at least look like it on the outside).I would like to hear about you.Update: The nose comment on my photo was meant to show off my nose in a very proud way.......I'm so surprised at how many of you guys think I don't like my nose (eye-ka-rumba). But just the same, thank you all for feeling the need to reassure me that my nose is ok......very thoughtful. I like men who are assertive and comfortable in their own skin. It's hard to write what I think is an ideal first date because I like things to be spontaneous....what can be written about that.....takes the surprise out don't you think?
