Woman. 53 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: man. In age: 50-60
I enjoy walking, doing things outdoor, boating, going to the beach, reading, baking, cooking, tropical beaches, wine tasting, dancing and volunteering when needed. I enjoy going to dinner, movies, plays, musicals, concerts. I love just about anything that involves the water and beach. I work out everyday and take care of myself and it would be very nice to find that individual who respects the same.I have met my goals in life pertaining to raising my daughter and son. My daughter is pursuing her Masters still and son is in his career. I am in my ProfessionaI career and plan on retiring in 5 years. I sacrificed many years in raising my children. However, that's what I elected to do and have no regrets. I have raised my children and now want to find a Good man that is stable in his life, not insecure or jealous and knows where he wants to be in a few years and enjoys life and the company of friends and family or just hanging out with each other. I want to enjoy the company of a man that enjoys doing things with family and friends but yet likes to enjoy each others time together as well. I enjoy traveling. I try to go every Summer or every other Summer. After conversing though meetville and talking on the phone then meet for dinner. If the spark is there then maybe another date. Then who knows!!!

I think the profiles that are the most compelling, the most thoughtful and hopefully the most honest are the ones that tell the story that can’t be told the first or second time you meet and probably don’t need to be told if there is a third. Oddly enough, it is about subtleties delivered with a broad brush approach. So here goes… I have an unyielding zest for life but love the quite times. I have been on meetville for about a month, quietly learning about the site and how it works. This morning, cup of coffee in hand, I am writing my profile. My life is about the yin and yang…I am an artist. I paint but I also work in the corporate world. I love the water and sailing/cruising but love connections to community and friends. I am not mixed up… it makes perfect sense to me. Humor, I truly think the world can’t turn without it. I love to laugh…the good kind, a real belly laugh. It is a gift we should use more. I like organization and try to keep my home/boat in order. She is my passion. I love my boat and Mr. Dobbs, my rather large, cat. He has turned out to be quite the boat cat.-aboard, boat cat. The people here are the perfect mix of eccentric and down to earth, well-to-do and hard working, fun and quirky, well versed in boat “mechanicing” to needing help tying a dock line… but we all love the water. It makes me smile to walk down the dock and see the grays of the dock boards, the ripples on the water and then the inevitable interruption of a warm greeting “another beautiful day.” Simply said, it is a good place. What I want… what kind of person will I ultimately find?… that is almost impossible to say upfront. It is about chemistry (literally), interests, direction, work ethic, values, sharing a good beer, music, knowledge (that yin and yang thing again, what can I learn from you and what can you learn from me), how you feel about the other creatures we share the plant with, how well you can trim the sails and oh, did I mention laughter. I am fit, strong and feel that I have a feminine quality that manages to stay in place even when I am working in the bilge or on my diesel engine. Appearance matters but it is not defining. Like a painting, for me “looks” are comprised of many layers: smiles, complexion, body shape and tone, hair and that ultimate sparkle in the eye. Pictures only go so far… you have to see a person in their environment to ultimately find out if there is a connection. To quote a song… “it’s a fragile magic” Gotta love life and it sure is fun trying to figure out this journey. Informal, simple. A drink or lunch.
