About Me

I am a business owner so there are times when I work alot and times when I have alot of freedom. Most favorite thing to do is ride my Harley. I have my own but have no problem jumping on the back. I love to dance, shoot pool, just hang with friends having a good time. Have done alot of Bike Events in the past as a Vendor and now trying to do them as a participant. Focusing on bringing my business through a downed economy and enjoying any time that I can have free. I am very much a Harley snob...lol...I can't imagine even dating anyone that does not share the love of the wind on two or the lifestyle that I've led since the 70's. Been thru alot of changes in my life but that is the one constant. Now I can clean up and do the things that responsible, productive members of society have to do. And sometimes I like it, just not for very long. I really am OK on my own. By choice I've spent a lot of my life like that. If you can't like spending time with yourself then why would anyone else want to spend time with you. Within the *** years I've been on this earth 20 of them were married to the same man, and only married once. The last 4 of those 20 I think were out of not wanting to fail and I just couldn't see letting him kill himself from his addiction and be alone while he did it. Learned you can't change anybody else and it's pretty stupid to try. Lot of wasted energy. I'm pretty committed, I give it my all once I make up my mind to do something. Anyway, new chapter........turn the page!Died in ***and ended up in a treatment center. Look at life that God gave me another chance so there's something that I'm supposed to do. Took that experience and helped alot of people, hopefully, in the same situation as myself. Didn't like the way Mental Health was switching it's views on treating addiction and told 'em to shove it. Miss the paychecks some times. Don't do the drug thing, don't want involved in it. Don't want it in my life. So if it's part of yours I'm out.Have been involved in the Antique Business for the last 18 years, have done it all some....auctions, flipping, refinishing, repair. I still like it and would like to maybe use the 50x60 building on my land to do some refinishing again. Dream would be to restore an old house. Maybe it'll happen, maybe it won't. I seriously want the next phase of my life to be drama free. Would like to meet someone that I can again settle down with. But I seriously believe that comes from a good friendship being built first. About me, love to laugh, (my sense of humor is "strange"), am loyal to a fault, am not one that is gonna jump in the sack at the beginning. Just don't believe sex should be the driving force in starting a relationship, but if you like what we have and you hang for awhile then watch out. It's been awhile. LOL And I remember me being a pretty "affectionate" lady. Seriously Love being In Love. Just not going to force anything because I don't have to be.Biggest thing is I am exactly what I am. I don't have the capability to lie. My pics are really me and have all been taken in the last 3 years, Although I really believe that pics make some things appear a little bigger than they really are..........LOL Oh and just as a side note.....I don't want to "hang out" with someone who could be my son...seriously, get a grip. And in that last sentence I was kind, really wanted to type that differently.As an addition since my status has changed from seperated to Widow I have to say I've taken alittle closer look at this site. Here's the Taurus in me....I've been very clear what I'm interested in. I have just gone thru way to many "want's to meet you" that has nothing in common with me at all. I ride a Harley, not a horse or a bicycle.....and I'm not going to change. I went deep sea fishing once and enjoyed it, but it's not my hobby to sit by a stream with a string in the water......I said "I can dress up" but I'm not into the suit and tie all the time kind a guy. anyway, just seems like alot of guys on here are just hitting buttons *** looking for someone they have something in common with. Not into it.Anyway, thanks for looking and let me know if we have something in common. Guess that would just depend.

    Exploring a dating site at my age...really? How is it that a smart, witty woman with reasonable social skills finds herself in this predicament?
