Three wonderful sons, a job I love, beautiful parents, close friends, numerous opportunities to travel, yet there is one important thing missing in my life - that special man; someone to laugh with, cry with, share with and enjoy all that this life has to offer!My boys are growing up so fast. The first date is the most awkward part of re-entry into the dating scene. I believe there needs to be at least a bit of chemistry between us if there is to be a second date. Whether drinks and dinner or a walk through the woods, the conversation should flow naturally between us. I'm a little old fashioned in that I prefer the man to initiate the first contact. Exploring a dating site at my age...really? How is it that a smart, witty woman with reasonable social skills finds herself in this predicament? I am a liberal, animal loving vegan who eschews convention and the need to conform. I enjoy witty banter...am well read...love the om-ness of daily yoga...... I am the consummate geeky girlygirl. I think we often get caught up in the mythical concept of perfection and the maddening pursuit of it, never stopping to breathe and realize we have everything we need and that the greatness within us is only searching for the compatible greatness in another. I believe in fierce loyalty...the reality of someone having my back and I his.
