I'm not very good at writing about myself, and Internet dating intimidates me, so here it goes:I am very laid back person who loves spending time with family and friends. I like to watch movies but I love live music (almost any kind but Rap). I love to travel, walk on the beach, ride motorcycles, (not drive), beautiful sunsets/sunrises, BBQs and dinner parties with family and friends, and I like to dance, though I'm not very good at it. On cold winter nights, I enjoy a fire in the fireplace, a nice glass of wine, a good movie and someone special to cuddle with. I have never learned to snow ski, but I love the snow. I also enjoy the outdoors, camping, fishing, boating, tubing, hiking. I recently bought a new bike that I'm going to begin riding on Town (I mean Lady Bird) Lake. I love sports so I enjoy tailgating during the UT football season, hosting football parties, or attending a game live. I like the Cowboys, Rangers, and Spurs, but I'll root against then anytime they are playing the Lions, Tigers, or Pistons. I'm a very stable person. I have worked for the same company for 33 years now, raised a wonderful son, and I own my own home. I have learned to be very self sufficient over the years so when it comes to a relationship, I don't 'need' a man to take care of me, but I want to share my life with someone special.HONESTY, communication, integrity, and faithfulness are important to me and I would like to meet someone with those same values.What I'm Looking For:I'm looking for someone who is outgoing and who can make me laugh, but also has a serious side. Someone to be my best friend and I can count on when things get tough or just had a bad day. Over the past few years, my job, school, and other commitments has not allowed me to spend as much time to work out as much as I needed to, so yes, I did put on a few extra pounds. I'm working to take those off know, but I believe its what's inside that really matters, the outside can be fixed.Friendship would be a great starting place to know if we have that connection or chemistry we are both looking for.OK, this is going to sound harsh, but I'm going to share my displeasures I have had with these sites so here it goes: If your business takes you overseas to purchase "goods", make sure your finances are in order and you have the funds needed to pay to get your "goods" back thru customs. DO NOT ask me to send you money because it will not happen. If you claim to be in the military and are stationed overseas, DO NOT ask me to send care packages containing money, cell phones, t- I have the utmost respect for our men and women in our military, so I do not appreciate someone who tries to be a military imposter. I know what I'm looking for I am too old for head games, so if that is part of your game, please don't contact me. If you are only interested in texting or ***, I'm not your girl, I'm not interested in having a cyber relationship. If we can't have a phone conversation or plan to meet within the first couple of weeks, lets not waste each others time. I don't believe in love at first sight and nor do I believe you can fall in love thru texts or IMs, this is something that you have to work on, face-to-face, but I do believe in immediate chemistry. The first 'date' is really a meet and greet so somewhere we can enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink and have a conversation without too many distractions. Its the 2nd date that matters, if it gets that far.

    I am just back from a Bahamas cruise so decide to post some new pics and update things a bit. ? So anyway a bit about me. Just a normal lady, looking to find someone to spend some time with and see what happens. One of my friends said this feels too much like writing ones obituary...and I think he may be right. But how the heck are you going to know if you want to meet me, or go out with me if I don’t tell you something……so hey…..here goes. From reading so many of these profiles I have determined that we all enjoy being outdoors, we all love the beach, we all consider ourselves to be pretty active, and we all work out or exercise ***times a week. I’d be a liar if I said I work out that often, but I do try to take care of myself. I have never been married, but gave back two rings, no children, unless you count the two cats….which I do as they are treated better than a lot of children. The IRS keeps giving me a hard time every time I try claiming them as dependents. ? I really do love the outdoors and when I grow up I want to be a farmer. I am also a bit sarcastic…but you probably noticed that already. Another friend of mine calls that “snark.” He’s right too. I’ve got some smart and fun guy friends, but alas, not the right one….and yet I keep coming back here and looking to see if he (could it be you?) is out here. I am trying to keep this a bit on the lighter side. Sometimes I think we take ourselves too seriously when writing these things. So I’m trying to just have some fun with it. I also really do love the beach and I tan easily and love water activities. I know how to kayak and can handle myself on a small boat…but mostly I really like to lay on the beach and drink tropical drinks with little umbrellas in them. I found out on the cruise that I am really good at that. ?I do some “Charity-Pay it Forward" well intentioned sort of things with my time. I work with a teenage youth group from my church and I’m experienced in mini golf, glow in the dark golf, mid-nite bowling, lazer tag, (but I really suck at that one) I am working up to “rock climbing” and an overnight kayak trip on the Allegheny. I’ve also done a few Mission trips, and handled many service projects with many groups of teenagers who keep moving thru the ranks. So my own self- description is “a good Christian girl, with a bit of a wild side. :-) If you decide you want to meet me we can go into greater detail regarding that “wild side.” A girl has to have a few secrets…..Anyhow……….I think that is enough BS in this section...thanks for reading and if you got this far, we might actually get along…..shoot me an *** One last thing…if all you want is for me to send you more pics of myself, please move on. I have posted several, so if you want more you are going to have to come and take them yourself. ? We can decide together

    I am very much a "people person" by nature and am blessed to have wonderful friends and family. For recreation, I like swimming, snow or water skiing, biking, walking and playing tennis...I also enjoy hanging out and watching a good movie or heading out to a football, basketball or baseball game!
