About Me

I have a tendency to laugh and find humor in most things-even when life's events aren't too humorous. I've been told my laugh is distinctive. It's a nice way to be identified..better than another tone.I'm hard working but like my down time to have fun or simply relax. I like the exhausted accomplishment after all day of hard physical work. Just not every day. I love spending time with my kids-alternating weeks. They are great people; smart and loving.I like adventure-will try just about anything. Things I haven't done but would try or like to learn-scuba diving, jumping from a plane, hang gliding and more! Managed a ski trip in last winter; was really glad I could still enjoy it. Conditions were perfect! Looking forward to some good beach time this summer. Being near the water is like being home; nothing better than the sound of the waves. Although wicked storms run a close second. Staying home and relaxing in front of crackling fire with a drink is nice too. Snuggling on the couch and enjoying time together. The comfort from that connection is huge!I'm more comfortable barefoot and in jeans than in heels. Can't see how people wear heels all day long. My favorite "heels" are my cowboy boots. I have a few pairs. If there's good music, I can dance for hours! I do like to go out and enjoy music and dancing.I appreciate honesty and open conversations. If you ask a question, I will answer. I hope for the same effort in return. I'm looking to share; feel loved and to love in return. Someone to share laughs, adventures and quiet times. Someone to enjoy life's events together and be able to smile at what comes along; to laugh on a daily basis. Looking for butterflies. I still believe it can happen.Are you a guy full of contradictions? A renaissance man: Strong and sensitive; able to dig deep and share thoughts but also silly and strong. Will wrestle you for who gets the last piece of chocolate or chase you with the hose! Must like children and have a fun outlook on life. Ability to laugh at self and life. The eyes and smile tell a lot when getting to know someone. (often the key to the heart) Just looking for regular people! First date off a site like this is really a hmmm.. let's see what this person's like in person thing. SO lunch,a beach walk, maybe dinner something where if it's not great, the encounter doesn't go on forever; but if it is great then we will know.So I think the first date would really be the one that followed the initial one.I am NOT looking for a series of dates just to be wined and dined. I am very much interested in finding that someone---butterflies, connection and laughter. It seems to take some time and patience.
