I grew up in the country in Southwestern Va. (very close to Tenn.)I'm old fashioned in some ways and not, in others!I like to be outdoors, even if just for a walk. Also,enjoy meeting the locals that way. My 5 yr. I enjoy baking, cooking, especially on the grill. (I didn't say I was good, just said I enjoy:) I have a green thumb, plants have taken over my house! He's great! (And we're the exact same weight)Love boats and Harleys. (I have neither.Yet)I read books, not a Kindle. Books just feel better in my hands. Follow politics and current events. Much more interesting than reality shows.I like to get out in the country, the woods, the beach. Or go out with friends to hear music. I'm a free spirit. People say I have a great sense of humor. I have a serious side too. I like museums, the theatre and ANYTHING to do with history. But staying in can be great with the RIGHT person! I'm very Patriotic. I'm very curious, love to learn!! Am taking more pre-reqs for a better job in the medical field. It's a waste of time and I lose interest. *** (Some people have nothing better to do, but I do) I'm here to meet someone for a relationship, not just "something to do" (like entertainment) If your pictures are so old I wouldn't recognize you...... No thanks, I don't want to go to your website and buy your book. Can't believe how many men are on here hawking their books. If you say you don't want any drama (what an overused line) ....you're usually the one with the drama. For all the commitment phobes, don't flatter yourself. It's a DATING site, not a "Hey I like his picture, marry me site", so relax :)Ok, sorry if that sounds negative, but some of these guys profiles....lol A place we could hear ourselves talk but not so quiet we could hear the crickets if there's a lull in the conversation. Hopefully we would've "chatted" enough to know that wouldn't happen! Music is always good!

I am a woman with a creative background who loves to be with people who can make me laugh, whom strangers think I may be shy, but inside has a wicked grin, the occasional inappropriate thought, and friends whom I prove this to often. I've learned that looks are for the most part irrelevant (although you need that initial spark) and that it's how a man makes her woman feel that's important. And this goes both ways. A small gesture goes a long way with me. My musical favourites run from blues and rock and everything in between. I love to watch live bands. I'm just looking for someone special to share some of my favourite things to do, and would love to be introduced to some new ones.While I'm fine with myself where I am physically, I am a constant work in progress, working on bettering myself and need someone to accept me as i am right now, and enjoy the ride with me.
