About Me

I am a special education resource teacher and I love what I do! I love to laugh and think it is much better to live life being optimistic..... I was married for over 20 years. Now it is time to start again but it is different at this age because we know so much more about who we are and what we are looking for in a partner. I have two incredible children that I am fortunate to have close relationships with, even though they are out of state. I am told I am spunky and I will tell you like I see it. I am happy, fun, and a little adventurous (however I won't jump out of an airplane!), and have a little bit of a wild side. I am also a very passionate person especially when I feel strongly about something including the people I care about in my life. I am looking for someone to go out and play with, someone to laugh until my stomach hurts, someone who if you have a difficult day you can talk about it, get a hug if thats whats needed, and then move on, someone who can and will communicate (I know it takes work, but its so worth it!) but most of all I am looking for a best friend. If that someone also happens to give me butterflies thats an added bonus!I believe that when you meet someone and there is mutual interest/attraction things come naturally, there are no rules, and you don't have to think twice. You could be done fishing or at the very least you made a new friend. Meet and talk, whether its for coffee, a drink or dinner doesn't really matter. You have to start somewhere.
