Woman. 54 years old. Zodiac sign: Pisces.
Looking for: man. In age: 51-61
Affectionate, spontaneous, fun loving woman with a variety of interests. Seeking one good man with whom to share life's adventures. No drama and I like it that way. I have plenty of free time to spend with the right person. Please be emotionally and financially stable, as I am.I would love to find "the one" but will be happy even to make some new friends along the way.I have travelled extensively and owned several businesses. I enjoy a man who has a good sense of humor and can engage in witty banter. I enjoy my home and take pride in it. I enjoy entertaining and decorating for the holidays. I'm not a bar fly or into the club scene. I will go with a friend occasionally for a drink and to listen to live music. If you are a heavy drinker or into illegal drugs, we're not a good match. Meet for coffee or a drink the see if there is that elusive "spark"

ME: I'm a clever, open minded, accepting little extrovert with an eye for beauty and design. My time in my garden is precious and i considerate it a wonderful therapy. BUT i can't shoot photos of dragonflies everyday of the week. I enjoy my independence, but i'm just too much of a "people person" to be alone. Anywhere i can go meet another kind, funny, interesting person/s is where i want to find myself. I do volunteer work with one of my dogs who is a registered therapy dog at the local hospital. My favorite thing to do when i am not "working" is spend time with friends/family. I have been described as "knowing no strangers" and i think it fits me well. I'm not a mountain climber or biker but i LOVE the outdoors. I will support you fully if you want to climb a mountain and be waiting for you at the bottom with a glass of champagne in my heated cabin (ha). So here's a few of my likes: Happy, friendly, kind PEOPLE, animals of all kinds, esp the canine variety, dinner parties with old and new friends, a really good cup o' Joe, preferably french roast, whole foods, not too serious card games, professional massages, antiques, chocolate cake for breakfast (ok, anything chocolate), hard workers, and spending time in my favorite room-my outside deck. If you Fall, I Will Be There~FloorWHO I'M LOOKING FOR: A Kind, polite, gentleman with integrity is at the top of the list. Secondly, physically and mentally fit. I don't think it's asking too much to read a profile that has proper grammar and spelling...hey this site even comes with spell check for God's sake! I like a guy that can take care of himself in a social situation. A lover of animals, especially dogs is a plus. I'm not too much of a "material girl" anymore, but do enjoy someone that takes good care of and takes pride in their possessions. I am looking for someone that doesn't expect a physical relationship before a friendship and mutual attraction has been established. And, BTW, thanks for not posting pictures of yourself without a shirt on in your bathroom. I've taken a pole: none of us like that....nor do we like pics of you and your big toys, or your big muscles while you're working out....we have to have something to look forward to finding out about in person!I am looking forward to finding each other and having a great time!

LET'S GET THIS STRAIGHT....I'm dressed like a friggin' NUN in my photos..no "cuddle time" before meeting and greeting. Just sayin'...I am just a nice girl looking for a nice guy. But not desperate. My time is limited and precious. I am a mom, 4 kids, all older, one still at home for one more year. She is my life. I work hard, I am a student, an artist and I have been on my own for 10 years now. I am baffled as to why the laundry and dishes keep piling up - only me and my girl at home. Mysterious. It is like the missing sock thing. One time I cleaned my dryer vent and found 4 single socks and 20 bucks. Awesome!“'But I don’ 'Oh, you can’t help that,' said the Cat. 'We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.' 'How do you know I’m mad? 'You must be,” said the Cat. 'or you wouldn’t have come here.'” Meh. That about sums it up.I am a Librarian, tho' my training and education is mostly art and communications. I work all day with children and young people. I am a perpetual student, heading into my 4th year at BCC, slowly working on my second AA, eventually a BA or BS and maybe a Masters someday. I like my space. Raised 4 kids, and did a superb job. They are fabulous. I make great art. I don't much care about how much "stuff" you have. I am not into stuff. I love people and personalities.I love animals, music - mostly listen to country - books, reading, walking, talking, writing...extremely right - brained and mathematically challenged. Oh well. I tried to fish, literally, I mean. With an actual pole and bait. Turned out I was good at spotting bait, digging sand fleas, and snagging rocks. And guarding the cooler. I think that should count for SOMETHING> I like hiking - would prefer the mountains, but like the local nature preserves. Owned a horse in my youth, love to ride. Pretty basic stuff, I oame from a military family, so I am used to uprooting and traveling. I tend towards restlessness at times. I am fairly content with my life. I recently had a life-changing medical scare that put me in a new place of perspective.. Gratitude is key, as is forgiveness, love, faith, understanding and acceptance...rarely is it level. I am capable of drama but do not seek it. No longer so easily rattled. Everything is as it should be.I believe: The best time to plant a tree was 50 years ago...second best time? TODAY. (My Gumbo Limbo is flowering...whooo hooo!!!) I'm drawing a blank. I think of it as a meet and greet, not a date.
