So here i am, wondering what it takes to attract the one for me... i don't want to multi-date, so have not responded to many here.. it seems that no one actually makes the plan to meet.. and we all just get lost in cyberspace... why is that? i'm a good catch, i think lol... i like to think i'm sweet-hearted... have gotten hurt but hold no grudges... count my blessings every day... love as much and as often as i can... i believe in being myself at all times... i never pretend... you won't have to wonder what i'm thinking... i'm pretty transparent... um.. i tend to look at things in a unique way most of the time... and i love simple solutions ! i'm happiest when i'm outside, particularly near water.. i'm a mermaid masquerading as a landlubber lol... dream of living on a boat for a while... i've been told i have a calming influence... i do like peace :) but also have a very silly side and snort when i laugh hard.... what else? this is just a little window into who i am and i would love to share more with one special person... cause i'm a one-man woman and that's the only way i roll..lolLove anything outdoors, especially the water.. swimming is my passion... kayak, SCUBA, camping, traveling... lots morealso intellectual and really enjoy stimulating conversation! love to read, write, learn new things... i consider myself a perpetual student of life...as far as what i'm looking for... well, that's hard to say specifically, but i'll know it when i feel it :) let's just meet outside on a bench by the water, have a cup of coffee or an ice cream and talk :) don't have to dress to impress, just be yourself... and no pressure!

Woman. 52 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.
Looking for: man. In age: 49-59
Introvert, Introspective personality, great listener looking for my complement. I enjoy lots of outdoor activites especially if they are in tropical climates. Would love a travel partner, national parks, world capitals, cruising. Enjoy jazz, R&B, and classic rock over top 40. Like beer and crabs over wine and cheese. Have an interest in saving the earth for future generations, volunteering to give back. And for any past or present military, a big thank you!I know how important pics are. I an working on that. Apparently, meetville thinks the ones I tried have too few pixels...ok, just took some new pics and they uploaded. Can't say I didn't warn you! Wysiwyg (that's for you older computer geeks... Those are deal breakers.Age does not matter as long as there is emotional maturity. I don't watch much TV, but rent a lot from netflix. It is so difficult to get the essence of someome in a few short words. Meeting and talking in person is preferred over endless *** texts.I look forward to meeting you and seeing what we have in common. Coffee or a drink to break the ice and get to know each other. Then, we decide what's next.

Woman. 51 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 48-58
Waiting for a knight in shining armor - will do if he comes in jeans! :)About me....First I would like to say that I love life, & I love my Country! I don't always agree with Politics, however, I'm proud to be an American. I love being with friends & family as they are most important in my life beside's God. I've been told by other's that I have a very charismatic personality, and I'm fun to be around. I love to write, & I love to bring encouragement to people who are hurting. I love to push my limits and I'm willing to step outside of my own comfort zone's. I have an inner strength and drive that somehow keeps me going, even when the going get's difficult. I try to always keep a positive attitude in life *** focusing on the negative things that can drag you down.I have a broad taste in music, however I can't stand most Rap and hard core screamer rock music, it just put's me in a bad mood. :) I love shrimp cooked just about any way except coconut shrimp, yuck! I have a great sense of humor, and I love to laugh because life is way to ((short)) to be so serious all the time. I am very independent and can stand on my own two feet. I would love to have a man in my life, but my happiness doesn't depend on me being in a relationship. If I'm not happy with myself, then how can I make someone else happy? I'm looking for someone who is adventurous to share my life with, it's not very fun going alone. I enjoy the simple things in life, and I believe that the best things in life are free. I came across a quote describing some of the best things in life, and this one really stood out.... Having a Good Laugh – "Laughter is the greatest cure of all. Life is extraordinary in the moments when you are laughing so hard you can barely breathe. These moments of deep laughter are divine in the sense that they cleanse your mood and set your mind on a positive track". No money in the world can buy that; even a simple smile can melt a cold heart! :) Now mind ya, I don't suggest having one of those deep laughter spells in the deep end of the pool! Back when my cousin and I were teenagers, we had one of those deep laughter spells while swimming in the deep end, we were laughing so hard we nearly drowned, and that is no lie! :)A few things that I am looking for in a man is someone who is cheerful and optimistic. Someone who likes to get out of the house *** vegetating on the couch in front of a T.V. all the time. Someone who has a positive attitude in life; one who see's his glass is half full rather then half empty. Someone who can still see the beauty in life even when things are not so good. One of my favorite quotes that I live by is that "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain. And knowing that the Will of God, will never take you to where the Grace of God will not protect You." Trust me, I've been through many many storms in my life. One last last thing.... I'm sure you noticed some Military pictures that I have on my profile, well there's a reason for that. I am an Army Veteran, I served my Country many years ago, and planned on being a lifer. However, my Career was cut short by an injury I sustained while doing my job. I have had 3 surgeries to fix the problem, but unfortunately I could no longer do my job back then and I had to take a medical/honorable discharge. Yes, this woman loaded ships, bombs, ammo, military vehicles, and even Tanks! I still miss being in the Army to this day. Anyways, I may not agree with these 2 wars that we are in, but I will always stand behind, and support our soldiers!!! So, as one of my picture's say's....if you don't stand behind our Troop's, then feel free to stand in front of them! I know it's a bit blunt, but that's how I feel about this matter. My life is an open book, I have no secrets. So if you have any questions, or want to know more about me, please feel free to message me. I promise, I don't bite. :)
