The best things are the simple things, don't you think? Good friends, engrossing conversation with bright people, live music, campfires, good meals, flowers blooming: the list is endless, really. Your list may differ, but think about it. Doesn't it all boil down to attitude? I've heard as much as 95% of our life can be attributed to our attitude. And I agree. If you choose to look at the positive side you are someone I'd love to meet. My life is good; full of fun and interests and friends I love and respect. You may infer something's missing from my good life, I'm not in a panic about it, but let's see what happens. You? A new friend? Could be one of those simple "best" things. However, let's be clear: grey hair, receding hair, no hair? I don't care. A good physique? I care. Call me superficial (but no more so than any man); I work to remain fit and slim. I'd appreciate the same effort from you. Please be aware I'm tall. And I adore high heels. That usually puts me at, oh, 6' in height.-existent I'll be romantically interested in someone short. Thanks for stopping by, and in the interest of being straight-forward, some of my photos date back to July ***. Not much has changed.... Let's not expect too much. Casual is good. A game of pool, a beer or glass of wine, conversation? Weather permitting, a walk around the reservoir?

I am your basic girl next door looking for a "cyber connection" the same as you. I am not into casually dating. If I don't answer your ***, please don't take offense. It isn't because I don't want to, it is because when I do and say "thanks but I do not think we are a match", I've gotten mean *** My preferences for my "future cyber connection":1 Still has a career or if retired, very active in something.2 Loves his family and is close to them. 7 Close to my age a little younger or older is fine. I feel I look and act young so looking for similar.8 Doesn't have small children. Sorry, been there done that. As for me, I'm a CFO/CPA for a retail diamond company by day and a CPA by night. I keep busy, but for the right "connection", I find plenty of time for us.I have traveled the world and still love to travel, but I keep it close to home these days due to all the unrest in the world of flying. (Unless you talk me into somewhere...lol)I am not into *** or talking on the phone alot. I like to meet and see if the "chemistry" is there sooner than later. Drinks somewhere quiet (with appetizer because I can't drink w/o having something on my stomach).I do not drink coffee.

I work to live in the moment and appreciate every day. I am a true optimist. I have a great sense of humour and I am generally easy going. I am also passionate about many things— now there's a subject for conversation! I practice Vipassana meditation, and strive to live my life fully SInce my degree, training and much of my life has revolved around music, it forms a big part of who I am. One of the passions in my life. Not one you need to share necessarily, appreciate perhaps, participate in even better...I love listening to jazz, blues, folk, and classical music of many kinds from chamber ensembles to gregorian chant –don't groan– only in the morning, or maybe late at night– I can use headphones. I also like silence. I usually prefer a book to a movie but I can be convinced to watch if I am in the mood. I do enjoy quirky–– movies, documentaries, and english comedies. I'm not much of a tv watcher either except for english murder mysteries.I enjoy discussing a lot of subjects– an intellectual but not a snob. Who doesn't enjoy travel? Exploring new places together, seeing unique sites, animals, cultures, architecture, history, museums, plays, music. Going off the beaten path. Designing our own bike tour or just taking off? (I tend to be a spontaneous person which probably means I benefit from someone with his feet pretty solidly on the ground??). Going on a paddling adventure out my back door. Near or far, exploring new places and things together keeps us young and vital! After working as an educator within the school system for many years I am now taking time out to write a book – yes, it's a murder mystery (of course), although a sci-fi/fantasy was my second choice. I am generous and loving, very loyal and honest, creative, courageous but not reckless. I enjoy exploring new ideas and pursuing a variety of different interests which makes me interesting and independent. I hope you are too. I love time spent together sharing things we both enjoy and enjoying alone time, although having you nearby doing your own thing but still on my radar is rather nice. If you are optimistic (or at least a hopeful pessimist ), confident without being arrogant, compassionate and caring, smart and curious, and have a sense of humour, I would love to meet you. I am easy about the chemistry thing – it either is, may be, or won't be. No harm done. Polite and we move on. OKay with you? Cheers Something active sometimes makes it easier but a thermos of tea and a favourite spot or the local Bistro for a chat works well too. I'm open to suggestions.
