About Me

Looking back, I would say that as a single professional woman, I have devoted too many hours towards career, and not enough time in looking for Mr. Right. I am entering a period in life in which I would like to change my priorities. I am in search of an easy-going, even-tempered, fun-loving guy to share enjoyable activities with. Perhaps, someone looking for a partner to rock in that chair beside them out on the porch, in the final chapters of our life.I enjoy music and love going to listen to local bands play. I enjoy cooking and love to entertain at home for family and friends. I enjoy playing cards and board games. I enjoy going to the movies or going to sporting events. I like boating and fishing. I can find enjoyment in most any activity. I believe anything is fun if you are with the right person. Optimism and humor are definitely important core qualilties that I seek. #1 A nice first date could be as simple as going to the local ice cream shop and having an ice cream together as we talk. #2 Walking around the mall and going into the music store to discuss music we both like ended by a soft drink in the food court.##In my mind, it should be something light, something not too long in length, something casual and certainly not expensive. It's just an opportunity to meet, to see if there are any sparks whatsoever between two people. If not, it's not the end of the world. Afterall, it may just be one more human being you have met in your life and nothing more than that. Hopefully, it's one more step closer to meeting your match no matter how it turns out.

Woman. 53 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.

Looking for: man. In age: 50-60

I am a fun, patient and honest person. I love animals, long talks and walks. I like cooking together, sharing some wine eating out and an occassional crazy nite. I love boating gardening, especially orchids. I am very devoted to the right person. My music tastes are all over the place, though rite now I'm into country. I love watching a good comedy. Most of all I love being happy. although I love romance, the first date should be about getting to know one another, seeing if you "click". Lots of conversation, hopefully laughter, and no uncomfortable silences. Or maybe something fun, I am very young at heart, so fun and laughter make a big impression on me.

I love trying out something new and can have fun doing anything from staying home to partying it up in the city. I don’t have many demands on my partner, you should be just a nice and decent person.

Woman. 55 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.

Looking for: man. In age: 52-62

I have two wonderful daughters, who have been and still are the pride and joy of my life. They are grown and on their own. My primary goal in life is to glorify God in all that I do, and I admit, I fail at that sometimes. I enjoy movies, a few tv shows, although I tend towards British tv. My favorite at the moment is Doctor Who. I'm a self- I am trying my hand at photography, and love finding unique things to photograph. I enjoy knitting, and have a knitting group that I go to, where we enjoy each other's company, and help with each other's patterns, stitches, etc. Note that I said movie "scores", not soundtracks. They are two different things, although I usually enjoy both. I sing and play piano, and frequently do both with my church's worship team. Worship music is what moves me the most, Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Matt Maher and Third Day being among some of my favorites. A first date would be something simple. Maybe meeting for coffee or tea in a public place, or a simple dinner. Nothing fancy, because adding a fancy meal into the mix isn't good when when people are nervous enough. Just a time of conversation and getting to know one another, with no expectations.
