About Me

Hello there. I guess you would like to know a few things about me. Basically, I am an honest person who enjoys being active and healthy. I like to engage in, as well as watch, sports. I play tennis and golf a little bit. I enjoy walking and do it almost everyday. I like to work out and I am looking forward to playing raquetball again. I love animals, and have 3 cats. I have a full time job in the afternoon/evening hours, which keeps me up rather late, so I am a bit of a night owl. I also love almost all kinds of music, but especially rock and roll (not too much classical though!). I've been on my own for awhile, and most times that is ok. But I do miss sharing moments and activities with someone special, which is why I am joining this site. I really don't have too much spare time to go out and meet someone, and my work environment is pretty well away from the general public, so meeting someone through work is out. I enjoy cooking and love watching ice hockey. I like to have fun, and enjoy adult beverages on a social basis. I prefer outdoor activities, and would love to find someone special to do things with.

But I have to say I am in pretty good shape for 53. I love sweets and pizza and hamburgers, but try to limit them and eat as healthy as possible. I have been gone from this site for awhile but I thought I would try it again. To be honest, dating sites make me nervous and I am more comfortable texting vs talking on the phone before we meet. I know some like to talk on the phone first but I feel uncomfortable talking to someone I haven't met yet. Besides, my cell phone gets bad reception in my house. I hope this does not deter anyone.
