We are athletes, can swear like sailors, and can kick most any other athletes butt...sorry if I just blew someone's vision all to hell...but...it is what it is :)Please do not contact me if you've already done so, have children under 18, are not financially stable (I have always paid my own way and expect anyone interested in me to be able to do the same), if you've been "born again" (once is plenty), if your under 45.....been there, done that....did the Oprah show telling all about it (true) and so on.... Chances are we will not get on or....you will become educated ....either way....drama..." When people are afraid of their government...there is tyranny...when a government is afraid of their people...there is liberty"...amen.A world w/o borders is my ideal...possibly a bit of a naive concept...still...it is what I wish to see. Too, and this is important...if you do not like OR are unable to travel to far away lands....am pretty sure that, at some point, would be a deal breaker.Am looking for someone who is well traveled, accepting other cultures, has a love for learning and being around Asian/Indian elephants for long stretches of time. That is an absolute...the Indian elephant is where my soul lies.And yes...am aware that I am looking for the proverbial "needle in a haystack" but hey...ya never know.Have walked alone most of my life due to my profession and passions.Being alone is alright....have stories to tell :X.. Of course it can get lonely but, from what I have observed, not near as much as the loneliness I see in couples who've nothing in common with each other. If I have learned nothing else in all my years on this planet, it is that there is no other element of a relationship that is more important than true, deep, friendship....period.I am human and an athlete, looks, chemistry, etc.... are important...cannot deny that. I am definitely ready to start a new chapter. I'm an independent person but it's also great to have a partner in crime (not literally) to hang out with! I try to work out at least 4 days a week. I enjoy running outside (with a little walking mixed in!) and I have a treadmill and an elliptical machine. I've been fortunate to have been able to do lots of traveling in my life.) someday. I'm just looking for someone who can make me laugh, someone to enjoy a glass of pinot grigio with dinner, either in or out, good conversation, and if it works out travelling to some great places! I have a sister who lives in the south of France and am planning a trip there next year to visit her. Might be nice to have a travel partner!

I have a romantic side, I’m an intelligent, attractive, down to earth woman with very little baggage or drama in my life, a happy person that smiles and laughs a lot (I really believe laughter is the best medicine). I have a multitude of interest, including music, the theater, home improvement, communing with nature, anything water related, hiking, biking, walking, gardening, festivals, Golf (I play at it). or just relaxing on a patio for happy hour with friends and family. I am a very optimistic (glass half full) person.Travel and ethnic foods are my passion and partake in both as often as possible. Life experience is something you learn from and move on.Some of the qualities I am looking for in a man are: intelligence (intelligence is extremely sexy), someone to have fun with, little or no drama, we should be able to be ourselves. A man who has a reasonable amount of energy, who enjoys getting out and being active, has great morals and is not arrogant. He is comfortable in his own skin (as am I) and is emotionally and financially secure. A great sense of humor is a must. We can meet on a patio somewhere that we can talk and enjoy tasty beverage. A great first meeting can be the start of a wonderful relationship or maybe just a great friendship. Of course if you are spontaneous and adventurous, there is always the option of the first meeting at the airport passports in hand. ; )
