I was a little skeptical about this "on line dating thing", but my sister met someone and they have been "happily ever after" for a year now, so, I thought I would give it a try! So, here goes.... I lead a pretty active life...my job keeps me pretty busy, but I love what I do,so it doesn't seem like work (most of the time...) Family is very important to me and I come from a very close knit one.I have a 30 yr.old daughter, and two siblings that are my best friends.I enjoy getting together with family, friends, and my grand-doggies,cooking out,and relaxing by the pool to the sounds of Jimmy Buffet... it just doesn't get any better than that! Can you tell that Summer is my favorite time of year? I can easily lose myself in my gardens and dig in the dirt until the stars come out. I love the outdoors, and consider myself a 'country girl' at heart. My dream is to design and build a log cabin in the woods and retreat there to live 'MY happily ever after'... My life is pretty fulfilling and I'm really not looking for someone to take care of me. I don't take life too seriously and enjoy the simple things that are so often missed. It would be nice to enjoy them with a great guy who makes my heart smile! I would love to get to know you over a great cup of coffee....(or a pot)...depending on how it goes.....!

Woman. 52 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.
Looking for: man. In age: 49-59
Best ways to describe me: nice, creative, thoughtful, intelligent, helpful, trustworthy, loyal, practical, thrifty, dependable, organized, caring, artistic... My hobbies: bargain shopping, second-hand stores like Goodwill, auctions, festivals, playing cards, bingo, ***, reading, home decorating, traveling, photography, dining out, museums, jigsaw puzzles, soduko puzzles... I enjoy cook-outs, bicycle rides, playing pool, working out (some) at the Y, walking my dog, etc. I am a little independent in that I know how to use a drill, re-wired a few lamps, re-upholstered a recliner and a chair, and have even replaced the flapper on the toilet. I don't NEED a man in my life, but WANT a man in my life. I have learned to do a lot of things on my own since divorcing, however I still haven't mastered the grill or the lawnmower! I still appreciate it when a man opens doors for me, offers me his jacket on a cold evening, and other kind gestures. I try to be a positive person and try to be friendly, encouraging and nice to everyone I meet. I attend church almost every week and would like to find someone who also considers it important. I usually listen to contemporary Christian music, but like most types of music. Looking for someone who is easy-going, well respected and a nice, caring person. Hoping to find a long term relationship eventually. Someone who makes me a priority and honors me, but also allows me time for myself occasionally. I have two great kids who are both married. Looking for someone who has friendly smile, nice teeth and hair, the clean-cut, all-American male, preferably without very many or no tattoos. I have no tattoos and have no desire to get any. I like to hold hands and go on walks together for quality time. No pic, no reply. My idea of a first date would be to meet at a nice, fairly quiet restaurant for dinner. Afterwards, maybe a walk and more time to talk.
