I come from a very close family.My parents will be celebrating their 63rd Anniv in Mar.; nephews. Unfortunately I was never blessed with children so if you have children, that's a plus for me:-)We were raised to work hard and were taught to appreciate what we were given. Even now I work 2 jobs, both keep me pretty busy, however I manage to make time for my family and things that are important to me..I am a firm believer of enjoying the moment that your in. No matter where I am, what I am doing, or who I am with, I find a way to have fun and make the best of it, because we never know what the future holds or what tomorrow will bring.I am a very happy person because I have a great family, great friends, I love what I do, and I am very content with my life!..However, as much as I enjoy my life the way it is, and as fullfilling and as busy as I am, I would love to have someone to share it with. I would truly enjoy having that special someone to talk with over coffee in the morning, to enjoy a cold beer after a long day of work, go for a walk on a nice day.. holding hands, watch a good movie over a big bowl of popcorn, go out on a Friday night dancing, have a glass of wine in front of a warm fireplace, or just cuddle on the couch saying nothing at all...... I enjoy the simple pleasures life holds as well as being able to experience as much as I possibly can. I love listening to music, all kinds of music and I love to dance!!!Both of my careers involve travel which I enjoy. I want to see as much of the world as I can.; SanDiego I have been divorced since Jan ***and have had enough time to adjust. I am very healthy in body spirit and mind and would like to enjoy my time with someone who likes to enjoy life, smile and have fun!!! As long as he is a gentleman. I like to be treated like a lady. I whole heartedly believe that life is what you make it. It’s all about choices. My choices - a positive attitude and approach life with optimism. I try to look for the best in people and situations; at the same time, I’m pretty realistic. Laughter is an essential ingredient in my life. There is an Irish blessing that says, “Blessed are they that can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.” Let me just say, I frequently entertain myself. I have some goals that I may share in the future.My play – I like to travel, see the sights, the people, and all the experiences that come with it. Antiquing is one of my favorite things to do. I’m fascinated by the history and the stories. I like to read, and I dabble with writing. I am usually open to adventure – within reason. Smiles. He has a sense of humor, but a serious side, too. He is thoughtful and kind…not just to me, but to people in general. He is self-aware, grounded, and self-confident. He loves being with me, but is also comfortable alone and letting me have my own time, too. He is comfortable with my friends & family, and I am same with his. He takes responsibility for his own happiness and life choices. He brings out the best in me by encouraging me, acknowledging my successes, and even lovingly bring me to greater awareness when need be. I love a cracklen fire outside on a cool night . Did you ever sit by a mountain stream and just listen to it? I love that.. I do alot of volunteer work. I got married when I was 19. Been married for 33 years. Now I'm starting over. i have this big bucket list, and time moves on quickly. Sometimes I feel like a kid again. I want to start over with new friends and maybe someone special. And, by the way, just because the pics of me show that I'm drinking in a bar, don't think I do that often- that had to be a once in a 5 year thing! Just meet somewhere. A restraurant somewhere not to loud because I'm deaf in one ear. Talk about our families, things we have done in our lives, things we want to do. Places that interest us. Maybe have a drink or two while getting to know one another but no cow tipping on the first date.
