Hi There, I am easy going, have high standards when it comes to a person's character, but I know how to have fun. I am close to my family and enjoy a variety of people. Even things you hate to do can be enjoyable with the right people. I don't really think you can get a good sense of people through electronic communication, so I prefer to share more in person. Oh, and the mixed color hair - is brown with some well-deserved gray. Two years of German for undergrad, but really don't remember how to speak well.Please understand that it is not smart or safe for women to respond to messages or profiles without photos. A first date can be anything enjoyable - a country fair, the aquarium, or a show, a good movie, a hike or an afternoon on a boat. It takes a couple of meetings to know if you want to go on an actual date, so *** first date, perhaps a first meeting is more in order, something simple, like over coffee or a simple walk in the park.

I'm a little uncertain about on-line dating but it seems that it's difficult to meet new people - we all are so busy.... Just want to meet a great guy to enjoy life with. Not asking too much, right?I grew up in many different places since my father was in the military for 26 years. I loved it there and would love to go back to visit. I like adventure, nature, laughter, hugs, red wine, a beautiful sunset, snorkeling, witty humor, healthy food, quiet time for myself, board games/cards with friends, pondering deep thoughts, exploring Quantum Physics, animals of all sorts, all of my longtime friendships and new ones, traveling and feeling accomplished.I'm a pretty optimistic person, able to see the silver lining in just about any situation. I am very happy, love to laugh and don't take myself or others too seriously. I believe there is someone out there for everyone, just have not found my someone yet... I have 2 kids, 23 and 27 and also one grandbaby! I stay busy, prefer to be outdoors, love the water and sun but also fall, chilly weather and fires in the fireplace.
